Idols In Concert – Stats – 10/31/13

Happy Halloween Everybody! We have a bag full of treats for you from across the reality talent show spectrum.

Representing Idol is Phillip Phillips opening for John Mayer in front of massive crowd in Brazil. I don’t remember the last time this happened, but we actually have two reports from Brazil this week – from different artists. Also performing in Sao Paulo were X-Factor US’s Emblem3 performing as the headliners at the Z Festival. The opened for Selena Gomez in Nashville. Their season-mates Fifth Harmony also held a concert in Montreal. That’s three countries and we are only just getting started.

The So You Think You Can Dance troupe took their wicked dance moves to Atlanta and sold-out the venue. Despite struggling in the ratings and being cut down to one show a week, I’m thrilled that this show can still give their contestants a chance to perform before their fans. Dancers too often are just the background acts to singers, so its nice to see them take center stage.

Finally, the Voice is represented by their most successful winner, Cassadee Pope. She opened for Pat Green in Austin.
