Idols In Concert – Stats – 02/05/15

Just one concert report this week – this one from the So You Think You Can Dance Tour. They managed to sell-out their LA stop in the NOKIA Theatre making an impressive $221K.

Fifth Harmony, a group formed on the US version of X-Factor released an album this week that is predicted to sell in the 70-75K range on the SPS chart which is excellent for a Pop act who hasn’t even had a top tier hit. It would have easily have been the top debut of the week if it had been released last week. Now 53, the ever popular compilation album series, will be the top selling debut album this week with a 85-95k on the SPS.

Here is an interesting article in BB about how Super Bowl and Grammy performances impact sales. Here is another specific to Katy Perry’s recent performance. Sells of her singles spiked 92% on game day. Missy Elliott saw a 996% gain.
