That Blake/Sanjaya thing looked ugly. That little clip showed more possible tension than the entire Season 5 tour produced.

I agree that Gina should at least strongly consider the Rent offer. I doubt she’ll get an immediate record contract so this may be a great way to keep her name out there.

Christ I feel bad for broadway people, I wonder how they feel with all their jobs going to Idol rejects.

On the one hand, it sucks to lose a job to somebody who became popular on a television show and swooped in and took the job you wanted. On the other hand, it’s great that somebody who became popular on a television show swooped in and saved the failing Broadway show you are acting in by bringing in new fans (Fantasia really boosted sales numbers for “The Colour Purple”). Idols wouldn’t be getting the jobs if the producers didn’t think that they would bring extra attention to the show.

On balance, I’m sure that the Broadway actors aren’t too happy about it, though.

Ryan seems obsessed with Sanjaya. Melinda loves sleeping on tour buses. Jordin says that she will be hitting the studio hard after the tour in order to get her CD out by Thanksgiving. Ryan shows a before and after shot of Lakisha’s new dental work.
