Idol Sales News – Week Ending 06/06/10

This is the second weekend after the Idol finale, so let’s see how things are trending. Are our new Idols sustaining sales or are they already fading from the charts?

But, first, some album news and it is pretty grim, I must say. The good news for Idol watchers is that Clay Aiken debuted in the top 10. The bad news for everybody in the music biz is that he had the 9th best selling album and it only moved 22K. And it isn’t January. Gah!

All the other Idol albums but one suffered a drop in sales. Anybody want some anti-depressants before the music executives eat them all?
