Target probably didn't give those numbers to HDD but they do to Billboard. So he hit #32 on the chart with a Xmas album that's only sold in one chain.The album was very cheap but people still had to want to buy it. Elliott has done very well but I think with major label support, he could be a platinum selling artist. Being indy is not easy even with a big Top 40 hit. Although only a few are setting the world on fire, a fair number of Idols, such as Elliott and Jordin, seem to be proving that they can hold their own with other prominent people in the business.
