im disturbed that that Take One cd has sold as much as it has. Those are sales that could’ve gone toward For Your Entertainment.

As someone who almost bought Take One, I can say that it would have been in addition to, not instead of, FYE. While that won’t necessarily be true for everyone, I think that’s probably going to account for many of the sales of Take One.

Re: Allison, I don’t think the issue is lack of exposure (she has been on major TV shows, has ads all over the net, articles written about her, has been making the radio station rounds etc. etc.) and it certainly isn’t lack of a good product (and of course i have gone on record with my love of FIBOU)’ ¦I think that part of the problem is that it is just too much to have 3 recent idol contestants albums, in similar genres and all marketed to Top 40 and Hot AC radio drop albums at the exact same time. While there is room in the industry for each to have success at some point, i just think that it is too much to have them all drop together ‘” someone is gonna get ignored by the market/overshadowed/ignored by radio. And there are all the other issues that have been repeatedly discussed (who is her market etc.)

I think the problem with Allison and the low sales is that she sounds like P!nk2 and Kelly2 and since they both are all over the radio there is not room for a “2″ of the original.
