Yeah, poor Kelly with all her multi-platinum albums and singles. Poor thing, having to go to another Grammy awards show and having to sing at the presidential inaugaration. lol

Stronger was top 10 in several countries and has been certified platinum and gold in many of those countries. I wonder how many total downloads of Stronger have been sold?

P2′s Home is at #8, while GGG jumped to #309 on iTune as of 3:30 pm Central time as reported by LivePopBars

Going, going, going… Up, up, up…

    Yesterday #576, today
    305. Phillip Phillips – Gone, Gone, Gone

  • jpfan2

#268 when I just checked. That’s an ok bounce. It would even be better if it broke into the top 200 songs on iTunes.

    Your wish is granted %)

    199. Phillip Phillips – Gone, Gone, Gone

  • jpfan2

Now if it breaks into the top 100 that would even be MORE amazing.
(It looks like it will in Canada. )

  • girlygirltoo

That’s a nice bump for GGG. And “Ellen” still hasn’t aired in every market yet today, so it will probably continue to cimb.

  • LongKissGoodnight

What people have to remember is that i-tunes is a rolling chart, so you should not expect to see the effect right away. It takes around a day, day and a half for the song to climb to it’s peak position based on one time exposure, like televised performance. Just remember the chart performance of covers from the Voice.
I stand by my assertion that Gone 3x has a lot of potential as commercial single and from what I have seen so far, so very good…

    GGG 192

TWFTSOTM has moved up to #20 on ITunes. There is still Jimmy Kimmel tonight as well as the big Season 12 premiere.

  • lufausljc

“Gone, Gone, Gone,” is currently at #148. I know that Ellen starts at 4 pm here in the West Coast, but has it aired yet?

  • jpfan2

They only showed a few minutes of Home and no GGG at all. Still it got a good bump from Ellen and maybe Kimmel will help it break into the top 100 songs on iTunes.

  • girlygirltoo

GGG is at #127 on iTunes right now (Home is at #8). The Kimmel appearance should help bump GGG into the Top 100.

    From Chart Watch

As American Idol begins its new season, Season 11 champ Phillip Phillips continues to move up the ranks of all-time Idol contestants.
Phillips’ smash “Home” (which drops from #6 to #9 on Hot100 this week) has sold
3,606,000 copies, which puts it in third place among all songs released
by Idol contestants. It trails only Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” (4,053,000) and Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” (3,682,000). “Home” is still selling briskly (122K this week alone, digital sales rank: #7), so it will probably soon be the Idol leader.
It is Home’s 29th week on the chart. This is its 11th week in the top 10.

It’s #118 now (I wonder if it can break into the top 100). Even if it doesn’t I think the song got a good response from the Ellen/Kimmel audience.
