Taylor and Rueben still are the winners of American Idol. The record contract was simply one of the the prizes they were awarded. They may not be pushed as hard on the show this year as others but I think their presence will still be there. I don't think they (the Simons) are stupid enough to alienate more fans than they did last year, but what do I know, I'm not British. Elliott and Kellie onlast year instead of Kat or Taylor(whom were 1st and 2nd) was very disrespectfull of AI even if they were thier favs.This on the regular season not finals. That was major mistep along with ignoring of the contestants made the season lose focus. No I am not thrilled about "where are they now " but may wrk if they are not too cute about it. I think it should stick to season 6 to give them credit they deserve not 5 .
