Florida Georgia Line to Perform Live on Season Premiere of Nashville – Florida Georgia Line is so hot right now, even the cast of Nashville wants to see the guys play live! And what the Nashville cast wants, the Nashville cast gets, apparently: the CMA award-nominated duo will rock out live on the show’s season 3 premiere later this month, PEOPLE confirms. As if that’s not enough pressure, they’ll actually have to do it twice – for both East and West Coast audiences. “Florida Georgia Line is one of the music industry’s hottest groups. They’ve achieved the level of stardom that we explore every week on Nashville, so we are delighted to have them perform live on both coasts for our historic third season premiere,” says Nashville executive producer Dee Johnson. – Read more at People

Nigel Lythgoe: ‘Talent Shows Should Actually Be About Talent’ – “It needs courage from the networks [to greenlight a new talent show] that are watching so many other shows fail,” Nigel told Yahoo Music’s Reality Rocks Wednesday night after the SYTYCD Season 11 finale. “But that doesn’t mean that the public doesn’t want it. I think a lot of people out there want that. You’ve just got to be careful that you put the right talent in front of the camera — and not ignore the talent. There’s so many gimmicks on these shows that we’re forgetting what the real idea of the show is, which is to promote the talent out there! It’s about [the contestants]. It’s not about the judges; it’s not about gimmicks. It’s about talent. And I think everyone can respect that. “When you see people like Susan Boyle, who you just don’t anticipate is going to be that good, it leaves you open-mouthed when you hear them sing. And that’s what we need to be finding. Let’s not get lazy with the talent search. Don’t just look on the Web and think you can find the talent. Go out and find it. It’s there!”

Max Adler Addresses Klaine Split Rumors – “With ‘Glee’ you can’t say anything. They really will kill you over there,” he says about the rumored hookup. “I can confirm I am coming back. Karofsky is back in the picture and I know they have signed me on for the first four [episodes]. I have read the first two.” “I do have scenes with Kurt and Blaine and in what regard, what happens, lips are definitely sealed on that,” he adds. “Karofsky’s there and he’s alive and well and living life.” And yes, he is very aware you don’t want to see him break up your favorite TV couple. “Honestly, It’s flattering,” he says of some of the backlash. “They care, because they’re invested in not only the story lines, but the characters and the show. I think that’s a credit to the writers and producers that six seasons in, you still have these really passionate, die-hard fans. I think that’s a good thing.” – Read more at TooFab
