‘Smash’ Gets ‘Dangerous’ – No one may be able to forget about Marilyn Monroe, but it appears that Tom & Julia’s musical may be getting tossed on the backburner in Smash’s second season judging from the new poster I stumbled past on my way to work this morning! Plastered on The Broadway Theater at 53 Street, the posters for a new production of (Dangerous) Liaisons not only feature guest star Sean Hayes (as Terrence Falls), but Megan Hilty’s Ivy on the bottom right! – See the Photo at The Insider

Rugging up, the Texan powerhouse treated her band to the after-hours Bridge Climb for their only day off in the Harbour city. And she described the experience as “freakin’ awesome” in that trademark southern twang. While in Dover for her show Wednesday at the 162nd edition of the Tuscarawas County Fair, she took time to explore the grounds and sign autographs. Alaina was resting up before the concert and one fan, Christine Lankford, 14, was waiting close to Alaina’s bus hoping to get a chance to meet her idol. Gilles Marini’s ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Blog: Week One Injuries! – We survived week 1 and I am having a wonderful time reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. It can’t explain how amazing the energy was on Monday night. I forgot how thrilling it is to dance in front of a live audience. Peta and I worked really hard on our dance and even though I was excited to perform I was also nervous. I had a few set back during rehearsals. I tore my hamstring and a joint in my lower back and I wasn’t sure if they would affect my performance, but I pushed on and realized nothing can stop me once I am on that dance floor. – Read more at Parade.com

Hope Solo Memoir: ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Is Rigged, Winners Chosen By Judges Not Fans – A Radar Online story brings to light this passage from Solo’s book about a conversation with her former DWTS partner about a secret memo deciding which celebrity pair would be eliminated each week. This revelation couldn’t happen at a more awkward time for DWTS with the show’s All-Star season kicking off this week. (In case you were wondering, Pamela Anderson got the boot last night, which makes you wonder about the effectiveness of a rigging policy.) “Maks later told me that he had argued with the judges because he had been told we were going to be eliminated, that there was some secret memo going around that said who would be ousted each week,” Solo wrote. “He explained that he wanted to cause some drama on the live portion of the show so that they wouldn’t be able to resist keeping us around, hoping for more fireworks. “It seems to have worked — we weren’t eliminated that week.” – Read more at Huffington Post
