Like mother, like son… American Idol David Cook seems to be inspiring an entire family in North Carolina.

Some mother’s teach their kids to play patty-cake, or itsy-bitsy spider. But, in this case, this Youtube two-year-old is learning to love David Cook.

I agree. I was friends with a girl and her Mom who followed a group around and had expensive presents waiting for them at all the stops. From what I saw, it was more of a need for attention for themselves rather than just adoring the band. Though, I do think the t-shirt giving and smallish items are cute.

Oh, and those fans worrying that their Idol is going to go broke after the tour, there's a whole world of private and corporate gigs that offer a nice living, at least in the short run.
