All the Idols have been given new coms from corporations. His latest Vlog was so adorable. I love watching him talk. I wanted to climb through the screen and give him a big hug. Besides from sounding sick, I sensed homesickness. I really don't know how people cope with fame and all the CRAP that comes with it. Bless him. Hope he gets better soon. Since it was in his hometown, the fan could also work for or knows someone who works for a corporation (Apple, for example, or a store which sells computers) and arranged for him to be given one. A lot of people in Dallas are his fans. Does not mean that the money for it came out of her pocket. Even if it did, if she could afford it and wanted to give something to the hometown boy made good, I don't see anything wrong with it. I hope no one believes that wealthy people, who happen to be fans, in the hometowns of the other Idols have not given them big gifts as well. (Or at least arranged for the gifts to be given.)
