Carrie Underwood’s “Good Girl” video breaks CMT record for most weeks at No. 1 – Checotah native Carrie Underwood’s “Good Girl” music video held the No. 1 spot this past weekend on CMT’s Top 20 Countdown for a record-breaking 14 weeks. After being released in March, the video has spent more time on top of CMT’s Top 20 Countdown than any other video in history, according to a news release. This isn’t the first time that one of Underwood’s videos has broken a CMT Top 20 Countdown record. In 2010, the Oklahoma-born and bred superstar’s “Undo It” video held the No. 1 spot on CMT’s Top 20 Countdown for an impressive 12 weeks. – Read more at News OK

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Welcomes American Idol Winner Scotty McCreery! – When he was asked by patients if he has any other hobbies, he explained that he loves baseball. He played in high school and was a pitcher. He always liked to throw “slurve”pitches…a pitch somewhere between a slider and curve ball.
Scotty talked about the importance of education and how he is going to college in the fall. He is going to be attending North Carolina State University and go to classes Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (leaving the rest of the days for performances). He is going to be majoring in Communication and PR and is excited for the challenge. – Read more at RyanSeacrest.com

     Honestly, I’ve known a lot of people in my life with autism, and the way this Don guy words his phrases and doesn’t pick up on queues of how the audience is responding to him, I wouldn’t be surprised if he fell into that spectrum.
     
    And in that case, I would also be incredibly uncomfortable seeing his audition if they’re going to air how harsh they came down on him.
     
    I mean, I have no proof, it’s just a feeling I have knowing so many people with different levels of it.

    Haley and Lee were adorable on HK tonight. They both seemed to get a kick out of all of the craziness. Poor things had to wait FOREVER for their main course though. *TheTeamThatCookedForThemWasPrettyEffedUp* David Beckham and his son got the more competent team. In fact. Haley and Lee didn’t receive their main course until the opposing team came to help the other out. lol

    Is anyone else as amused as I am by Haley’s recent televised adventures with male Idol winners? Hopefully Kris is next on the list. <3

    Oh, and that HK episode was probably recorded last year right? If so it most likely occurred right after AI10 ended. I can't think of any other time when Haley and Lee would've been able to hang out with each other.

    His diction is really strange. Seems more like he has some kind of sequela or something. Remember that at some point he was hired to be Britney’s backup singer, so probably he was much better than this.

    Now that you mention it – yeah! Haley is the go-to female ex-contestant for these various appearances, is that because Jessica and Lauren are still under age, or on tours? Hey, she interacts well with whoever they pair her with, and she’s fun to watch. It’s all good. Nice visibility,  IMO.

    Pretty much. lol They made the occasional comment about their food tasting good though.(When they got to eat any that is.) I seriously hope they ate more than what they showed them eating on T.V. Oh, and Haley’s reaction shots were pretty priceless. I can’t blame the girl for cracking up at the goons who cooked for her though.

    Oh, and Gordon told the teams who they were cooking for, and he greeted Haley and Lee when they arrived. He also gave Haley a kiss on the cheek and told her he was glad to see her again. Something around those lines anyway.<3

    A youtube of DavidC singing the National Anthem at Kauffman Stadium in KC on Monday night, before the MLB Home Run Derby. The one ESPN did not televise. Another highlight in an amazing weekend for David, filmed from the big screen at the K – the sound is excellent.

    Loved the introduction – “2008 American Idol Winner, Platinum Selling Artist, and Kansas City’s Own – David Cook.”
