American Idol’s Candice Glover Has Lost 30 Pounds – Without Trying! – Candice Glover may have recently won American Idol, but she has also lost something, too – 30 lbs.! “Over the course of the show, from January to May, I probably dropped 20 lbs. ‘The Voice’ Executive Jumps to ‘Idol’ Producer Fremantle – Dutch TV veteran Diana Buddingh, who most recently headed up international productions for The Voice creator Talpa, has been named the new director of global entertainment production at indie TV giant FremantleMedia. In her new job, announced Thursday, Buddingh will oversee the global rollout and brand management of FremantleMedia’s blockbuster formats such as The X Factor, Got Talent and American Idol. If you can spare an entire day with the possibility of hanging with Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere, then give the “Nashville” folks a buzz, because — get this — they even pay. For 12-plus hours a day, the gig pays $64 for 8 hours ($8/hour with an 8 hours guarantee) plus overtime after 8 hours, if you are non-union.
