Hot on the high heels of her and partner Derek Hough’s win of the 16th season “Dancing with the Stars” followed by millions of viewers, Pickler’s also riding the radio waves with a new single, “Someone Somewhere Tonight.” The video for that song, which also features Hough, matches the heartfelt, passionate song with a passionate video and dance. American Idol alumni to sing and talk with fans at Midway Music Concert Series – SYRACUSE — Three American Idol stars are slated to sing, and answer questions from fans as part of the free Midway Music Series at the New York State Fair this August. Kelly Clarkson show in Troy cut short by rain – A few thousand Kelly Clarkson fans were rained out of a free performance from the original “American Idol” winner Friday when the pop singer’s appearance tied to the Somerset Collection’s Microsoft Store opening was cut short due to heavy rains. Clarkson was 20 minutes into a rainy set outdoors in the parking lot behind the former Kmart headquarters, across Coolidge Highway from Somerset, when rains went from steady to a full-on downpour. – Read more at The Detroit News

‘The Voice’ winner Danielle Bradbery returns to Houston – HOUSTON – Danielle Bradberyhas plenty to celebrate as she heads back to the Houston area for a big celebration given by her hometown. On Saturday at the Community of Faith Church in Hockley, a homecoming for Bradbery will be held, where she is expected to sing at least one song. After winning Season 4 of NBC’s ‘The Voice,’ the Cypress native was in Nashville this week recording her first two singles.
