Carrie Underwood Joins LP Field Lineup For CMA Music Festival – ARISTA NASHVILLE star CARRIE UNDERWOOD has officially joined the lineup for the CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL nightly concerts at LP FIELD in NASHVILLE. UNDERWOOD will take the stage on SATURDAY, JUNE 13th. UNDERWOOD’s performance will mark the tenth anniversary of her first CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL performance in 2005 following her “AMERICAN Idol” win the same YEAR. – Read more at All Access.com

Nick Fradiani Playing In Hartford For Radio Contest Winners – “American Idol” winner Nick Fradiani of Guilford will perform Wednesday and Thursday concerts concert in Hartford, but the only way to get in to see the shows is to win tickets through local radio stations. The Wednesday evening acoustic show, with tickets to be won at 96.5 TIC radio station and website, will be at the Russian Lady, 191 Ann Uccello St. The Thursday show, at which he will perform with his band Beach Avenue, is at noon at the Spotlight Theaters on Front Street in Hartford. According to iHeart Radio DJ Adam Rivers, Thursday tickets can be won on radio stations KC101, The River 105.9, Kiss 95.7 or Country 92.5 Tuesday and Wednesday or by entering a drawing on any of those stations’ websites. Miss Mississippi takes a look back as reign comes to end – STARKVILLE, Miss. —Jasmine Murray’s reign as Miss Mississippi will soon come to an end. She recently sat down with 16 WAPT’s Marcus Hunter to take a look back at her crowning achievements. As Miss Mississippi, Murray, who is a former “American Idol” contestant, sang for President Barack Obama. “That was just crazy for that to even happen for me,” Murray said. She inspires young women across Mississippi. “My platform, 13 going on 30, is teaching finding positive role models,” Murray said. “The decisions you make today will follow you the rest of your life.” – Wapt

‘The Voice’ Contestant Used Show Money to Fund ISIS Reporting – Third-season Voice contestant Ben Taub is now the author of a New Yorker cover story that about European teenagers joining ISIS. And the NBC reality series helped finance his reporting, Taub explained on MSNBC’s Morning Joe on Tuesday. There, Taub said, he met a father whose son had been recruited by ISIS who was trying to bring his child back.
