Kellie and Derek Meet for the First Time

Kellie and Derek Post Dance Interview

‘I once got booed in Nebraska for saying I was a vegetarian …it’s a big meat area’ – What was the last text you got? My husband just texted to tell me that he’d landed in Vancouver. He’s an ice hockey player and they’d just had a game in Dallas. He travels as much as I do and our paths rarely cross, which is not cool. When was the last time you cried? I seem to cry a lot on planes when I watch movies. I think it has something to do with the pressure and the funky air. I watched the latest Twilight and I’ll admit that I got a little misty. – Read more at The Sun UK

Phillip Phillips Interview- American Idol Top 10

First look at new ‘Voice’ judges Shakira and Usher – Anyway, the show opens with all four judges playing a pickup version of The Beatles “Come Together.” They play as though they’d been together for years — and they judge together with the same ease. Unlike “American Idol” — which is getting so long-in-the- tooth they may need to call in an orthodontist, or “America’s Got Talent,” where the judge in-fighting gag is more used up than the Kardashian sisters — and especially the forgettable format of “The X Factor” — “The Voice” judges aren’t there to focus on themselves. Well, maybe they are, but they aren’t so blatant about it. – Read more at The New York Post

‘The Voice’ Season 4: Carson Daly talks new coaches Usher and Shakira – “It just took a minute,” Daly says during lunch on the NBC Universal lot. “Blake didn’t understand a thing Shakira said for the first two hours. He called Usher, Crusher. [But] they all just get along it’s fun to watch. Within two hours, [the producers] just looked at each other like, ‘Awesome, everybody’s doing what “The Voice” does.’” This season’s format will stay close to Season 3, which Daly describes as “perfection” and will include the return of the coaches’ steal. “All the coach were more incentivized to look at each others teams because if someone slipped through the cracks they could steal them,” he notes. – Read more at Zap2it

The father-son team — both cancer survivors — chose to withdraw from the competition in Sunday night’s episode after the elder O’Leary tore his Achilles tendon in a previous leg of the race. Despite his injury, the duo still managed to finish the legs at the front of the pack, but under the advice of a doctor, the O’Learys decided it was best that Dave get home to have surgery before irreparable damage was done. – Read more at The Hollywood Reporter

IMO Beatrice may not have Carly’s range and technique, but had shown through the show that what she was able to do is more current than Carly, more marketable.
That’s the risk you take when you perform ‘older’ songs, in a more formal way, like Carly did. It eliminates future opportunities for those who are looking for something that appeals to a younger crowd, and that is Beatrice, moreso than Carly.
Carly’s got alot of talent and the world is still open for her in the future if she continues to improve. For, now, her age needs to catch up to the demographic that enjoy the type and style of songs that she sings.

Very nice props from Jane Lynch (1:31) who said Phillip Phillips is amazing, that song (GGG) is amazing. She said he is a true artist, a wonderful performer. She also believes the reason why America is buying up his records is that who he is shines through, that he is not a showy person, but clearly does how thing. She really appreciates his music and who he is.

Taylor… this is in response to your comment about seeing posts made from a Yahoo account. I replied in another thread a few days ago and it didn’t show up. Not sure if that was the problem or not since I have a Yahoo account.

That’s really nice coming from Jane Lynch !

    Xentusk & Sara

I did say strange Sara , I’m not surprised at all .. I just wanted to note that both girls at this age are still “If I could say” forming their personalities .. U can’t judge a 13 year old girl at this point in terms of which one is better , Perosnality -wise .. etc.. … even in terms of Vocals.

Cool for Beatrice. Always saw a star potential on her, though couldn’t say exactly what. As for Carly, she belongs to Broadway and that is it. A good Broadway career isn’t something despicable . She may earn MUCH MROE money than recording artists.
