Simon Cowell blames other judges for ‘X Factor’ voting snafu

The whole outcome left Cowell perturbed at his fellow judges. “It was a just a cock-up,” he told Show Tracker in a phone interview. “I don’t think they did what they should have done, which is exactly what they were told to do: Vote on who sang the best in the sing-off. And then we got to that ridiculous place where they went to the deadlock.”

Katharine McPhee teams with charity to take on malaria

Malaria No More, an organization that is celebrating its fifth birthday today, is a proud member of the fight. With an emphasis on the use of social media and other new forms of communication to raise awareness for the cause, MNM is celebrating the day with what else — a campaign on Facebook and Twitter.

I recently caught up with MNM’s new spokesperson singer and actress Katharine McPhee to learn more about their efforts. Not only is the American Idol alum getting ready for her new TV show Smash to hit the airwaves in the new year, she will soon be traveling to Africa with MNM to help raise awareness for the cause.
