Tim Urban on Taylor Swift Break-Up Song: Maybe It Will Get Me Back on ‘Ellen’ (Video) – “I think Simon would get the humor in it,” he says of the salty Brit, whose judging days on Idol came to an end after Urban’s season (which also featured talk show host Ellen DeGeneres as a judge). “Simon has a sneaky sense of humor. I think he would appreciate it.” The 23-year-old Texas native doesn’t think fans of either pop star are offended by his ditty — the video already has 1,000 likes and few dislikes — and he’s is hoping that Swift and Styles take a look at the video. If nothing else, Urban demures, “Maybe this is my way back on Ellen.” – Read more at The Hollywood Reporter

Nikki Reed & Paul McDonald: Bootleg Theater Performance – Watch Now! – Nikki Reed and her hubby Paul McDonald do some shopping together at Barneys New York on Friday (December 7) in Beverly Hills, Calif. The 24-year-old Twilight actress and her hubby recently released a five song EP called “The Best Part”! – See a Video and Photos at Just Jared

Interview: Movie role will keep Jennifer Hudson in holiday spirit – It’s a good thing Jennifer Hudson was already in the Christmas spirit Tuesday at her “A Hudson Holiday” party at the House of Blues, because the Oscar-winning actress and Grammy-winning singer will need it for the next few months. Hudson was recently cast alongside Forest Whitaker and Angela Bassett in “Black Nativity,” based on Langston Hughes’ gospel musical of the same name and, according to, will film January through March in New York City. The film revolves around a Baltimore teenager who is sent to Harlem by his single mother, played by Hudson, to spend Christmas with grandparents he’s never met. “It’s a musical and has kind of a Christmas feel to it,” Hudson said. “All of those things intrigued me and made me want to be a part of it.” – Read more at Chicago Tribune

‘X Factor’ UK Finale Hits Low; Simon Cowell On Deck For Revamped Season 10? – This Sunday night’s season finale hit a peak of 12.8M with delayed viewings. Overall, an average 11.1M viewers (with delayed viewings) watched the two-hour show that aired from 7:40pm to 9:40pm for a 39.6% share. That was a 2M down from last year’s finale and more than 6M off the 2010 finale, The Guardian reports. Figures for the semi-final show last weekend were down 40% compared to 2010 when Cowell was still a judge, according to The Independent. (That season launched boy band One Direction.) Advertising revenues are also said to be down. ITV will generate about £85M in advertising coin from this season, according to The Guardian, about £15M down from its peak. – Read more at Deadline

Nice to ‘Glee’ ya, Lea – Sexy “Glee” star Lea Michele clearly isn’t afraid to show off her backside — but it’s her breasts that she just can’t stop talking about. “These babies are great. They are my prizewinners,” she boasts in the latest issue of Marie Claire magazine (inset). “They were nervous to make their appearance but feel they’ve earned their place,” joked the Bronx-born and Tenafly, NJ-raised Michele, who’s been burning up red carpets with her plunging necklines. “So they asked if they could come out, and I was like, ‘All right, you guys.’ They definitely rose to the occasion, so I’m going to continue to give them more opportunities.” – Read more at New York Post

    Better Quality video of CNN.
Adam was calm and articulate. It seemed everybody on the show was fangirl with him.
Love his laughs and gigles. It’s good to start the morning. It’s going to be a beautiful day. Two more Adam shows today.
Wendy Williams Show and NBC at 10.

Adam Lambert talks about v.h.1. divas 12-10-2012

  • bridgette12

I could truly see him having his own talk show one day. The ability to articulate clearly and listen to the other person is one of Adam’s greatest assets. I can’t wait to see him on the other two shows.

  • windmills

Carrie also tweeted yesterday (link) that she’ll attend tonight’s ACAs so that likely means she won something. Looking forward to the appearances by Scotty, Lauren, and CaseyJ. Keith will be performing too so maybe he can also somewhat rescue the usual trainwreck this show is. I’ll be live blogging the show here. Good times!

  • Nadine_Bitch

I’m so excited for his hosting gig:)

Is there any live stream for ”Wendy William Show”?

Thanks for bringing the vids here, Asif:)

  • girlygirltoo

New video blog from Kenya, complete with a snippet of Kris singing “Amazing Grace”

  • girlygirltoo

Adam did a great job on that CNN show. Don’t know who that one guy was, but he seemed very interested in knowing how to become a diva himself :)

Nice to receive Christmas greetings from David Archuleta.

New videos from his Chile Christmas concert.  David A’s voice continues to mature and deepen.  His spanish is impeccable.

    Noche Sagrada (Oh Holy Night)

The Prayer  (should be getting better video)

  • Nadine_Bitch

LOL at the ”He’s not attention whore like me”… :D

  • girlygirltoo

Had to smile at that. Appreciate him sticking up for Kris, too :)

Oh and him in the crowd with that one fan was very sweet.

I don’t remember the VH1 Divas event getting this much publicity in the past, but maybe it’s just because I didn’t really pay attention to it?

  • DB987

For those who do not know besides Carrie being up for an award or two both Lauren and Casey J. are up for awards.  Lauren for best new artist and Casey video by new artist. Goodluck to them all.

In honor of her nomination here is a video of Lauren at a benefit xmas show at Track 29 last week.  She has a cold and had fallen down some stairs before the show and hurt her arm thus a little stuffy and holding arm.
Inspite of all that a  really nice soulful acostic performance of Natural women.

  • bridgette12

I laughed at that too, because I remember a few people here have called him that.

  • girlygirltoo

Another new show for Kris. Tulsa, Oklahoma!

RT @TulsaVanguard Tix for Kris Allen on 1/29 are on sale now. Get them while they’re hot.

LOL!  Adam really has the ideal personality for the business he’s in.  He is a textbook extrovert with a huge personality.  He loves to talk, he loves to meet and interact with people, he has a gift for networking, he’s perfectly comfortable being the center of attention, and it’s all second nature to him.  Obviously introverts can be celebrities as well, but I’d imagine they have to work a helluva lot harder at the publicity aspects of the gig.  I couldn’t do it in a million years.

  • Nadine_Bitch

Adam is so charming. The media loves him, he’s a media darling. He can’t be fault with that. Some mistaken it as attention whore;)

So 2 down, 1 more to go. What time his next TV appearance would be?

  • fantoo1

Poor girl, she has bad luck as far as falling and hurting herself.

  • Lexie O’Neill

In the Charleston SC Post & Courier, the big newspaper, there was a brief article on the inside of the front page concerning Christmas in Washington.  The greatest space was given to the Psy controversy.

But the cool thing was that the other performers were listed as such: Diana Ross, Demi Lovato, Scotty McCreery, Chris Mann of “The Voice” fame and “Smash” star Megan Hilty. Here’s to Scotty maybe moving out of that bubble since they didn’t feel the need to mention that he was from American Idol.

  • Lexie O’Neill

Also, Parade magazine had a CWSM contest on the inside cover yesterday:))

  • girlygirltoo

IKR? I would be an awful celebrity. I hate networking and I hate going to parties, etc. unless I know at least a few people there. I am the true definition of a wallflower. It’s a good thing I’m not famous, lol.

Adam, though, is a total natural at this stuff (or if he isn’t, he makes it looks like he is)

Jewel announced today that she’s releasing a Greatest Hits album in February and she asked Kelly to redo “Foolish Games” with her and “Who Will Save Your Soul” was rerecorded and revisioned with the Pistol Annies for it.

Here’s a teaser video with studio footage with Jewel and Kelly in it.

Billboard | Jewel Releasing ‘Greatest Hits’ on Feb. 5

The 17-track set also features a pair of new duet recordings. She joins forces with Kelly Clarkson on a fresh rendition of “Foolish Games,” while the Pistol Annies join Jewel for another take on “You Were Meant For Me.”
“I just wanted to do some duets with some artists I really liked and some voices I like,” Jewel explains. “Kelly was amazing. She was a hoot to have in the studio. She had done ‘Foolish Games’ in several talent shows prior to ‘American Idol,’ so she really knew it. I’m such a fan of her voice and love what she added to the song. She was so effortless on it. It’s neat to hear it in her new light.

  • Kesia Monteith

OMG I want to hear that Foolish Games duet so bad!!! *screams* That duet is gonna be HOT! I loved Foolish Games when it first came out. About time Jewel released a greatest hits album.

  • Loretta

I love just watching and listening to Adam say words.  He immediately wins over whomever is interviewing him.  No false pretenses or attitude.  Just his adorable self.  His expressions crack me up and I really like the facial hair on him.

Love Kris’s Christmas ep.  So good.

Awesome, now we know what Kelly was recording with Jewel! I see from the video that their Foolish Games duet is produced by Dann Huff, who has done both of Kelly’s singles to country radio.

The Billboard article contradicts itself on the identity of the Pistol Annies duet but based on the video it looks like it’s You Were Meant For Me not Who Will Save Your Soul. I’m excited to hear both.

It will be interesting to see what happens if VEVO & YT don’t come to an agreement in 120 days…

  • heartly

ah yes, I knew that song title wasn’t right when I wrote it.  off to make that correction.  lol

I’m looking forward to both songs.  Jewel is one of those people that I don’t realize I’m a fan of their music until I hear one of her songs played and then I’m reminded all over again about how much I liked her.

Adam Lambert on New York NBC Live, 12/10/12

And for those who didn’t see this from Scotty’s last night performance at Christmas in Washington, here he is with Diana Ross

  • heike hoffmann

While I for my part prefer introvert and more shy celebrities, the most important part should be, that they are talented. And nobody can deny that Adam is a gifted singer.

  • toother

I really don’t know why The American Country Music Awards are being called “a trainwreck”. This is only the third year and Jason, Luke, Lady A, Rascal Flatts, Jake Owen, Kip Moore, Dierks Bentley,Little Big Town and Urban are all performing (if list is correct from internet). Scotty will be there presenting probably the “new artist of the year” award. Sounds to me like this is going to be a very good show if you enjoy country music. In all the categories the nominees (for the most part) belong there.

  • El oh El

Haley Reinhart is in New York tonight for the Dubin breast cancer benefit at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. One of the hosts is Tommy Mottola and his wife Thalia will performing along with Haley and K’naan. Seems like a lot of Wall Street types will be attending.

  • Lexie O’Neill

I think it’s because Trace and Kristin were such bad hosts last year…one of my local dj’s said how would they beat Trace carrying Kristin in a baby carrier last year?  I don’t know, but I hope they don’t try…

Another radio station quoted Jason as saying they’re getting more understated and better every year…let’s hope so.

  • windmills

toother: I really don’t know why The American Country Music Awards are being called “a trainwreck”.

I called the ACAs a trainwreck because I’ve found the past 2 years of the show to be a pacing/hosting mess, with no offense to any past performers. I also think the awards are completely superfluous seeing as the CMTs already let fans vote for their country favorites. Let’s face it, this show exists solely because the Fox network wanted to get country acts together for something that will get some ratings. The one value it does have is it gives some people other than the usual suspects the chance to perform on the show but even that factor is down this year. Hopefully the show itself will be better than the last couple of years.

  • DB987

I agree that the industry doesn’t take these awards seriously and a percentage of country music fans understand that these fan voted awards are not necessarily a compleate measure of ones success but a measure of the artist who has the largest group of fans willinging to creat 100 accounts and vote everyday for a month to see their favorite win. But i would guess most people watching the show have no idea what went down and maybe take notice of the winners.  So to that end winning does mean something.

Just wished Trace Adkins would host by himself or with another co-host. Kristin’s voice is somewhat annoying.

  • lisa

wishing Casey J.and Lauren A.alotta luck tonite!I ‘ll be watching

Travis Wall (SYTYCD) apparently did the choreography for the Off-Broadway production of ‘Bare’ which opened last night.

It also seems he is going to be a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race sometime this coming season.

  • Shander Maxwhite

That (the one on you tube the first person in the comment thread linked ) Adam Lambert Interview was tremendous.   I’ve known he could sing and he’s been pretty good on intereviews in the past but nothing incredible in my book.. I wasn’t 100% sure of his staying power.   He has evidently learned that trade with the same rigor he learned singing and stage performances.

He was so comfortable and pleasant to listen to.. with 6 people pestering him he always had the right response to reach to with a smile and gracious humor while answering in an informative way.

Good JOB Adam.. we need stars with poise  like that to host events and just generally make us feel good as it is entertainer’s job to do.

  • Kariann Hart

Entertaining is Adam’s forte – the best!
