Adam Levine Calls Honey Boo Boo the “Decay of Western Civilization” – As a judge on The Voice, Adam Levine is no stranger to letting his opinion be known — and he apparently isn’t shy about voicing it outside of the singing competition as well. Stoked to watch Blake’s Christmas special tonight! I have no idea what he sang with Kelly but I love her voice so I’ll probably like it. I’m not as familiar with Blake’s music but he’s a pretty funny guy so I think the special should be fun to watch.

    New Kris blog from Kenya.

Spirit of Christmas Tour, had the chance to meet Mary and her seven children

“Long Distance” by Melanie isn’t a horrible song. If they really wanted her to do well, she could totally do well on the Dance charts. I do feel like if she performed “Don’t Fail me now” on XFactor (even with XF’s bad ratings), it could give her a better push in the market.

I’m looking forward to it too, and especially seeing Kelly. The fact that it’s airing late, at 10:00 PM, suggests that this Christmas special my not be so kid-friendly and a little more riske than other Christmas specials, which might be expected from Blake. ;)  Also, airing following The Voice will probably help in the ratings.

“Naima Adedapo, Ruben Studdard, Kimberly Locke and Adam Brock perform at A Holiday in the Heartland to benefit children and families of One Heartland. Dakota Jazz Club and Restaurant, Minneapolis, MN.”

This is a cool event with performances from some diverse ex-Idols. I think that this is the first time that Kim and Ruben would have performed together since coming off the Idol tour way back in 2003. Probably a nice reunion for them. I wonder if they will sing a duet?

It’s hard to tell if that new Melanie song is any good. The sound quality is not good and it sounds like she’s screaming rather than singing through parts of it. Will have to wait to hear the recorded version (or a better live version) to form an opinion.

I attended the taping and it’s definitely not a show for the kids.  The parts with Kelly, Reba, Miranda, his mom and Christina (aka all the live stuff) were just fine and harmless.  It’s the taped pieces that go off in other directions.  I’ve seen the humor described as South Park meets Family Guy and I think that about nailed it.  It’s very much Blake and I’m sure it’ll offend some people but you have to know going into it that it’s not a normal Christmas show because he’s not normal.  lol

Kelly’s in the UK this week with a bunch of appearances lined up and was on a show called Sunday Brunch yesterday.  She did a couple cooking/craft segments which were humorous and awkward.  Actually the whole show was awkward but not cringe worthy awkward.

It’s touching to see Kris doing humanitarian work in Nairobi and looks like he is really happy doing it. It’s a refreshing sight and news to read and see, as against to news regarding concerts and album sales which usually triggers debates and comparisons. Just a thought.

Nice that Lee was asked to perform at such a worthwhile event. He’s got a great voice & an even greater heart.

Thanks Tripp for the news about Kris & the live chat. Its the middle of the day here so I may be able to catch this if I’m able to connect to it.

Kris is a natural at doing this type of charity work -he’s so comfortable with the people there in Kenya- they must love him.

Like Lee’s remark, “Yeah. I know Iron man :)”  Some of the stars the Idols get to meet is on the amazing list.
