You know, last yearà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s sweet-as-pie underage à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“American Idolà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  runner-up. Once we were rejected from J.Loà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s balcony lounge, we turned around to find Archuleta hovering near the hors dà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢oeurves. (No cocktails for the 18-year-old, who didnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t even get to vote for Barack Obama since he turned the big 1-8 just a few weeks ago.) And I hope they enjoy the music. And I hope I get to meet them someday."" I love how supportive the two Davids are of each other. You can tell from David A.'s quote here that HE is truly okay with Cook winning. What a sweetheart. I also enjoyed hearing that he's still in touch with his fellow idols. And as for David C. and the USO tour in Iraq--wonderful organization he's working with. What a terrific article. I think, more than anything else I've read about him over the last year, this one provides the best insight into what makes David David.
