CeCe Frey & Paige Thomas Open Up About Emotional ‘X Factor’ Performances – “Yes, I was pegged as the ‘mean girl’ from day one,” CeCe admitted sheepishly, when I asked if she’d been misunderstood or unfairly edited. “I think that when everybody goes into a competition like this, you’re not sure how to act. You’re not sure if people are going to be nice, if people are going to be friendly, or if everyone is going to be conniving and do whatever it takes to tear you down. So I just kind of went into it with walls up, keeping everybody at arms’ length, because I sure as hell wasn’t going to let anyone mess with me. If I made myself untouchable, it would let everybody else know, ‘Okay, at the very least, we need to stay away from this girl.’ So was that the best [way to act]? No. But I am so pleased and thankful that I got the chance now to really be myself and let America see who I really am.” – See the Videos at Yahoo.com

The Roxy Club Responds To Adam Levine’s Bizarre ‘Voice’ Rant – One of the more awkward (and amusing) moments of this Monday’s episode of “The Voice” came when Adam Levine was critiquing contestant Cassadee Pope’s performance of a Michelle Branch song, and he used most of his airtime to quite harshly critique legendary Hollywood rock club the Roxy. “We used to open for Michelle Branch,” the Maroon 5 frontman grumbled, “and I remember we opened for her at the Roxy and they didn’t even give us a dressing room. I hate the Roxy. I’ll never play there again!” Anyhoo, the folks at the Roxy could have been angry about Adam’s bold statement, but in this any-publicity-is-good-publicity age, they decided to have a little fun with the situation instead, switching up their marquee immediately after Monday’s West Coast “Voice” broadcast:
