I thought things were bad when someone stole lots of his music and equipment. That was nothing compared to what has happened now.

The whole role model thing, Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m not going to fault him at all for not wanting to be put in that sort of position and given that responsibility. If an entertainer is willing to take on that role, then good for them, more power to you.

With that disturbing the neighbors thing, we donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t know what exactly happened. Though Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m sure there was some sort of situation because that would be too random of a story to completely make up. Who knows if he acted rudely or laughed it off, because come on, that tabloid could have easily put that in to make the story somewhat interesting. Thatà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s just how I see things.

And like everyone else, I hope BT gets his daughter home safely and soon, ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s so sad what happened.

Anyway, BT is one of Blake’s collaborators and someone he admires.

Yeah, me too. I think people will see what they want to see, good or bad or somewhere in between.

I’ve seen a lot of Blake fans, people who would presumably be inclined to see good in him, be turned off or criticize his recently reported/filmed behaviour.

Sometimes, people aren’t completely biased. Sometimes, people change their minds. Sometimes, people can like an artist and not require them to be perfect human beings. Sometimes, there are no hidden motives.

Sometimes, somebody really is an a$$ and even a$$es have friends. Often, the tabloids are full of hooey, but sometimes they contain a truthful tale or two.

I’m not specifically saying Blake is an a$$ (I don’t know him), but I’m not going to question the motives of those that who think his currently reported behaviour (if true) is somewhat a$$y. Just as I won’t question the motives of those on the other side of the coin. I just wanted to express the point of view that many people are not black and white. They are perfectly capable of seeing shades of grey and everything is not a fan war.

Blake is well-liked by his Idol castmates, and all the people he worked with on his album. I tend to trust those people more than tabloids.

Too many bad à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“rumors.à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  I still remember the one re the little old
ladies in the hotel lobby. There seems to be a pattern here.

I guess you can choose whatever pattern you want to see. You probably don’t know this, but earlier in the week Blake sent out a bulletin on myspace about his producer/friend BT’s missing child (here’s the flyer that’s been going around, as far as I know she hasn’t been found yet). And fwiw, from everything I’ve read (stuff that I’m sure has also been posted here, funny how most only comment on the negative), Blake is well-liked by his Idol castmates, and all the people he worked with on his album. I tend to trust those people more than tabloids.

“Break Anotha” has been growing on me recently but it’s still one of my least favorites on the record. I think “Know My Name” would’ve been a better choice for single #1.
