It goes far beyond losing a mother or any one family member to natural causes. We also don't know that she was even asked to sing the inauguration. Probably everyone assumes she needs more time to heal. Congratulations to Karina and Max! What a beautiful couple. They used to skate together as pros, I think, maybe they still do. Mario turned out to be a shallow cheating jerk. I'm happy for Karina and Max and wish them the best. This is more than grief. She will make it through, but instead of being Jen the star, she's not feeling that right now.
