LOL is right! When I first started running a few years back, and adding mileage, I’d make sure that Queen song came on my play list near the end — for shits and giggles! Now for really long runs, I aim for “Don’t Stop Me Nowwwwww, I’m having such a good time….”! Ah, I do love me some Queen. RIP Freddie.

As for Jacob’s interview, I’ve gotta say from someone who really despises Jacob, that that is one interesting interview. He made some really intelligent points that made me see AI in a different way. If no one has yet, I think I’m going to link that on DWoP. They would love it.

As for being banned, Jacob handed me my walking papers a number of times. I went through so many screen names, when I tell people I was on TWoP for years, they would ask who was I, and I would have to list name after name and inevitably they would recognize one of them. But, honestly, based on that, they probably thought I was a liar and was only there for a few weeks. YES, a few weeks with *that* name! Ha!

I can’t remember what any of those press releases said. But, I guess we’re pretty clear now that it’s just the trailer. Hopefully, the song will still seep into the brains of the movie goers and Adam can sell a few. But, I can’t imagine he’ll sell a ton without some radio play to reinforce it. So, maybe not the ultimate marketing coup we thought it was LOL.

Indeed and I’ll echo that LOL. Though I do still think it was also a nice bonus for Adam, but I always looked at all things TfM as bonus, not the actual album, single or whatever. But yeah, I think some others might have taken it for more than it was intended…a song for a movie and not part of some Twilight levels of soundtrack where it matters outside the film.
