And who ranks tours because I'm wondering exactly how Cook's small to mid sized venue tour beat out the Black Eyed Peas and Green Day. Both results seem like nonsense to me.

I think that's just one of those random "good tours to see right now" lists. It cannot be a list of the top tours of 2009, because there are some much bigger guns that toured this year who are not on it. And, it cannot be based on revenue because Cook's venues are too small (and the tickets are too cheap) to have beaten out those more established acts.

I think Kris is manged by both Fuller and McIlwaine. If Fuller wasn't involved in managing him, would he had had dinner with Kris in London when Kris was over there recording? Probably not. The fact that they did have dinner together suggests Fuller is involved in managing Kris, although I'm sure McIlwaine is the daily hands-on person' ¦
Adam had dinner or something with Fuller after the final show, it as part of Adam's RS interview. But we don't know if Adam is managed by Fuller. I tend to agree with Trina that having just McIlwaine's name suggests he is Kris's manager that he shares with Chris. And McIlwaine reports to Fuller, I believe. Not sure I think that Adam is necessarily managed by Fuller, but could be. Guess we'll see if Adam gets one of those blurbs, and Fullers name is a part of it.

I don't know who Adam's more direct manager is, has it been mentioned?

I don't know..but when DC and Daughtry first appeared on the Vibe raters list under management it listed Simon Fuller (first) and then a secondary manager, like in Daughtry's case it listed Simon and Stirling. I'll bet anything when Adam debuts on the list you'll see SF listed as his manager. I have no idea where I read this and I can try and search but I remember reading somewhere that when Jordin first appeared on the list Stirling and only Stirling was listed.

"FYI this was where (for me anyway) it was pretty much confirmed Simon Fuller was Daughtry and DC's manager, so I'm thinking SF won't be quite as involved with Kris."

Didn't Kris say in an interview a little while ago that he and Daughtry had the same manager, Stirling and I would assume that is the Stirling McIlwaine/19 Ent mentioned. Isn't he one of SF's main guys?

Are the VH1 polls done by Internet voting. Because how did Adam Lambert a guy who hasn't released an album or had any music played on VH1 get to be their #1 artist.

And who ranks tours because I'm wondering exactly how Cook's small to mid sized venue tour beat out the Black Eyed Peas and Green Day. Both results seem like nonsense to me.

I firmly believe that those VH1 lists as well as AOL's Tour Tracker rankings are determined solely by web traffic (i.e. hits for that artist on those particular websites). VH1 has artist homepages that list videos, singles, albums, and tour info - and they have overall rankings for each of these subcategories. I think anytime someone clicks to see info about Cook or Kelly's upcoming tour dates, it improves their ranking on the VH1 Tour chart. Same thing with the AOL Tour Tracker. Otherwise there's truly no rhyme or reason to it because the rankings on those sites definitely don't line-up with published boxscores.

Someone call Brian May and tell him Adam's album songs won't sound like TFM. Wasn't he the guy who though it was a timeless anthem or something.

David Cook's latest twitter: "Off to dine with the guys, then practice for tomorrow. Gotta keep up with Underwood."

He tweets just enough to let fans know he's alive, keep us hanging on every word - but doesn't tell the details we want to hear - like what he's singing with Carrie

eta - Hi Tierbee, Trina, everyone! we're in this fan thing together, on the same wavelength, I think

The speculation about those two songs came from the person who tweeted using the term "jammin on the one". I mean I guess it could be one of those but I really don't know. The U2 song is called "One", not The One. After seeing that particular term is a type of slang I'm not so sure the word "one" means much. Believe me I'll take anything over a Christmas song so really I'm open to whatever it is LOL

eta: he just tweeted aw!

I remember he said back right before he performed with her for the Disney event he had to try and keep up with her. Too cute. Wait he still has rehearsal going on??

In other news, I really liked (and identify) with Ryan Star's Breathe video. You can watch it here.

Loved that video, thanks for bringing it over! I hadn't watched it yet, though I've seen Ryan live 3 times and liked him more each time. He sings the song beautifully live. I didn't, alas, get a Ryan/David Cook duet version.
