I can’t believe so many people are buying the 2012 soundtrack.

Me either! I love Adam, but if there’s a chance I can get the song separately on iTunes rather than buying a whole CD, I’d rather wait for that. And as I lurk around the Idolsphere, a lot of people are saying the same thing. Yet it still seems to be racking up enough orders to move up the list pretty quickly. Surprising.

I can’t believe so many people are buying the 2012 soundtrack. I’m going to wait and see if TFM comes out in a single. If it doesn’t, then of course I’ll buy the entire soundtrack. I would also think a music video would come out for TFM.

Does anyone know how Allison’s album is doing?

The 2012 soubntrack is now at 121 on the Amazon Bestsellers, nearing the Top 100. There is some confusion with the other album called 2012 soundtrack. It has a list of artists on it, and of course Adam isn’t on the list because its for a different movie. Unfortunately, if you search 2012 Soundtrack-this one shows up.

This Amazon listing is for the US Import. If the other album is the deluxe album, why doesn’t Play.com list this one. too?

I don’t think it is an import. If it were the ASIN code would be identical and it would be listed as import under the title.

Okay, I went and looked at the Ebay thing. It seems odd that somebody would have tour stuff for sale, but I’m pretty sure that Idol doesn’t keep it so they must go somewhere.

I don’t know whether the clothing items on E-bay are legit or not. However, when fans of David Cook checked into a similar listing, the clothing was found to not be genuine.

Also, some of David Cook’s tour clothing (pirate pantz) was submitted by David Cook to be hung in the Hard Rock with other Rock memorabelia from other artists. He also donated the white “Innocent” jacket from AI 7 Week 8 performance to a charitable organization fundraiser. So it seems that David Cook had possession of, or access to the clothing he wore on the show and on tour (or his manager did).

What’s my opinion whether these are what the seller says they are? Buyer beware.

Thank you all for the answers! I preordered the cheapest edition just in case but I think all these listings are not good for the costumers… I haven’t preordered music from amazon before so I don’t know how it works.

Besides, who would MAKE a fake duplicate of that DSB vest on PURPOSE??

Uhm, someone who wants to make a buck?

Even if Adam didn’t like the vest, he would have to know that people would pay $$$$ for it and donate it to his charity. Same with Danny’s clothes.

To believe her, I would ask for some authentification documention from Idol, otherwise not believing her!
