The Idols are leaving for their two-day stint in the Philippines! Haley Reinhart tweets, “Hi! I’m back! Sorry its been so long! US AI Tour is over and now we are headed to MANILA today!!!! Has anyone been there before?” The Idols will perform shows on September 20th and 2st.
Scotty McCreery, Martina McBride playing Augusta’s Guitar Pull
Kicks 99s 13th annual Guitar Pull is bringing some popular country talent to James Brown Arena on Nov. 15, including American Idol winner Scotty McCreery and Martina McBride.
The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. Other acts performing are Gary Allan, Little Big Town, Jerrod Niemann and Corey Smith.
Tickets are on sale Saturday only at the Champion’s Box Office at James Brown Arena, starting at 10 a.m., according to a release.

American Idol Scotty McCreery rejoins the Garner Blue Crew
Scotty McCreery, the reigning “American Idol, ” was in the stands with his Garner Magnet High School classsmates on Wednesday, rooting on the Trojans in their soccer match against East Wake. (The match ended in a 1-1 tie.) McCreery, seated in the back center in the visor hat, is set to release his first album on Oct. 4. The former Garner High baseball player is returning to Garner Magnet High School for his senior year of classes.

After the success of the first Glee-inspired comic book, Bluewater Comics is readying to release a second installment, Fame: Glee 2, this October. The comic will feature Glee stars Darren Criss (who’s Broadway-bound next year in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying) as well as Heather Morris, Naya Rivera, Dianna Agron and Kevin McHale.
