Fantasia — Do As I Say, Not As I Do (Or Say)

Fantasia Barrino admittedly took a whole bottle of aspirin because she “wanted it to be over with” — but in a Las Vegas club Friday night, she made the whole incident seem like something that was done to her … not something she did to herself.

It’s been three weeks since her “suicide attempt” and Fantasia has gone back to shooting her reality show and promoting her new album. She performed at Rain nightclub over the weekend where she told the crowd, “They thought I was finished, they thought I was done, they counted me out. But I will never, ever stop. I don’t care what nobody say about me … Don’t let your haters stop you. Don’t let nobody stand in the way of your destiny.”

Syesha was born for musical theater. However, I don’t believe she will do well as a recording artist.

How wonderful of Matt to headline at a concert for the students at his college, and what a treat for the students. If the crowd estimate of 25,000 is at all close, WOW! This will be twice the size of the AI tour audiences or the crowds he played for a couple of times this summer.

Here’s one more tweet from a Cook band member (Andy Skib) from a few days ago. It might mean exactly what it says (he was given an extra wing), or it could be relevant regarding Cook going back in to the studio today (originally 12 songs … now there’s 13?).

You ask for 12 wings and they give you 13….what’s next? Jeeze 12:15 AM Aug 27th via Twitter for iPhone

LOL! Cook fans are dying for some concrete news, speculation is running rampant.

    It does….

I know some fans like to think “celebs” on twitter are constantly sending coded messages but seriously that is so not the case with that tweet.

Besides any possibility that it was a coded message is completely negated by the far greater rule of twitter: thou must tweet about food.

  • HappyDaisy

The Cook fans were nestled all snug in their beds while visions of chicken wings danced in their heads.

Yeah, that’s it, wings must mean songs. :)

LOL, I must be extremely un-creative because I would have assumed that tweet meant… he got 13 wings? :)

Like I said, some fans are speculating wildly. Come on Cook, toss them a crumb already!
