Idol Headlines for 08/11/11 – The Evening Edition

OH NO! Lauren Alaina has to cancel tonight’s Idols live she in Baltimore! She tweets, “Hey y’all ! I just left the doctor and I have severe bronchitis. Therefore I’m not gonna be performing tonight. Carrie Underwood Dress Listed for $6, 000 on eBay

Search “Carrie Underwood” on eBay and you’ll stumble across dozens of CDs, a hundred photos, a few T-shirts and one very, very expensive dress. One seller is hoping to get $6, 000 for this dress from the singer’s stage show. It comes with a letter of authenticity from Arista Nashville (Underwood’s record label) and the singer’s signature on the ruffly inside.

It’s unlikely an eventual buyer will be choosing between this sleeveless number or, say … a car. Hopefully this purchase comes from the disposable income envelope.

He tells Life & Style magazine, “She would have been thrown out within 10 seconds… It would have been one of the kooky auditions.”
