Adam Lambert corrects People mag, who seem to believe his brother Neil is married with a kid. (he’s not) Adam tweets, “People.com says I was a doting uncle to my brother’s and sister in laws baby at an NYC dinner. Wrong. I was w my dear friends the Cherry’s.” People must have let their fact checkers go.

Glee co-creator, Brad Falchuk tweets, “Writing first Glee scenes of the season. Blaine/Kurt in the Lima Bean, Choir Room, Quinn/Rachel, Will/Emma/Beiste. Little rusty.” YES!!!!

Reportedly, Season 9 Idol, Casey James will release his 1st single in 3 weeks. via TheCaseyJamesBlog (You can check out some performances at that link from his concert last night last night at Kodiak Jacks.) Casey is signed with Sony Nashville and will release a full length album later this year.

Hundreds brave heat to audition for ‘The Voice’

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) – It’s more perspiration than inspiration as hundreds are lining up in the heat in the swamps of Jersey to audition for season 2 of “The Voice.”

Temperatures were already in the 80s when doors to the Izod Center in East Rutherford opened at 7 a.m. Friday.

Auditions continue tomorrow at the Meadowlands.

‘Idol’ hopefuls brave heat for fame

Nearly than 10, 000 contestants rushed into the North Charleston Coliseum to see if the sounds their vocal chords are what “American Idol” judges are looking for.

The crowd went wild and remained rambunctious when Seacrest arrived shortly after 7:15 a.m. The real Seacrest, wearing a plaid blue shirt, jeans and no tie said: “Today is the one day I didn’t wear my suit.”

Girls shouted “I want to have your babies” and “I love you.”

“Thank you, ” Seacrest said enthusiastically when he turned his head around and spoke to the audience while being interviewed by a press mob.

American Idols Visit Tinker Air Force Base

Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma hosted an American Idol LIVE! Tour 2011 meet and greet today for members of the Armed Forces and their families. Fans quickly filled the Exchange Store, waiting for a chance to meet and obtain autographs from popular Idol performers. While some fans expressed disappointment with the extremely short amount of time allowed per person and restrictions such as not allowing one young girl to have her violin case signed, most were thrilled to simply catch a glimpse of their favorite Idol and exchange a quick hello or grab a signature.

‘SYTYCD’ Dancers Clarice & Mitchell Speak Post-Elimination

Nigel Lythoge had some very kind and encouraging on-air words for the pair (“We don’t have anything to say about you being bad tonight….we think you’re all fantastic!”), and Mitchell also knew he was fortunate to get this far, since a shoulder injury almost cost him the competition in week one; he was grateful that the judges had given him another chance, despite the fact that’d he’d been unable to compete that week.

And most importantly, Clarice and Mitchell left the show with a fabulous consolation prize: a spot on the “SYTYCD” tour. The tour seemed foremost on Clarice and Mitchell’s minds, in fact, as they optimistically spoke to the press Thursday night.
