Yes, actually, I have. I’m really working on song selection and whatnot, because that’s going to be the most important thing. I just want to make sure I get right material out there.

Do you know what it’s going to sound like?
I want to do kind of like a crossover, you know, country-rock thing … I’ll have some acoustic stuff on there, slower stuff, [as well].

Do you plan to do any of the songs on it?
Yeah, I definitely want to. It’s just a matter of whether I have the right stuff, because I’ve written a ton of material, but if it’s not gonna work, I’m not force it to be on there.

Adam Lambert threw a party last night in New York City, and everyone was invited.

Take, for example, the middle-aged woman in the audience who’d traveled all the way from Auckland, New Zealand, to experience the Glam Nation tour alongside fellow female fans from around the globe whom she’d met on Internet message boards. And in a similar vein, while the audience for the first of Lambert’s two Manhattan concerts featured a mix of ages, races, and genders, a cursory glance around the Nokia Theatre revealed that the American Idol season 8 runner-up is indubitably connecting with women of a certain age.

Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood Talk ‘Inspiring’ Nashville Rising Benefit Concert

On Tuesday night, Taylor Swift joined forces with Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and even Sandra Bullock for the charity show Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery, at the Bridgestone Arena. The artists teamed up in an effort to raise money to help the Nashville area, which was devastated by floods earlier this spring.

Carrie Underwood said she was happy to help the city that has shown her music career so much support. “You hear everything from people losing possessions to entire houses being gone. I’ve heard of people living in tents in their backyard, ” she said. “You just hear the worst of the worst and hope that in some way there’s something you can do about it. It is for a good cause so I feel like everyone [was happy to be] giving. You look out there and everybody’s at their best.”

Fresh from an air-lift in, Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh were spotted arriving at the ExCel Center in London, England on Wednesday (June 23).

The “X Factor” judges were all smiles as they graciously waved to their fans before heading inside to watch the auditions. At one point, however, Simon tripped over some equipment and almost fell face first to the ground. Luckily, he caught himself just in time.

Last week, the “So You Think You Can Dance” Top 11 had their first competitive performances on the “SYTYCD” stage and Zap2it was curious as to how the dancers prepped for their big debut.

Clay Aiken reprises ‘American Idol’ performances, announces he’s not single

“Everyone who was on ‘American Idol’ wants to make sure that people realize that they can stand on their own, ” Aiken says. “I’ve said a few times that Idol got me to the same place it got everybody else who was a runner-up. I’m very appreciative of being given the stuff that I have, but the six years post-‘Idol’ kind of have been trying to take what they gave me and make it continue to work.”

Though Aiken says he and Studdard are “the two most opposite people you’ll ever meet in your life, ” they’re very close friends and are looking forward to finally hitting the road together.
