I guess Kris will sing à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“No Boundariesà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ? Am rather surprised that they have both Kris and Adam billed for this – together. Ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ll be the height of the AI Tour. Hopefully, Adam will have a single and not do more Idol stuff unless à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Mad Worldà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  is going to be on his album.

I know they’re in DC right before this time, so they’re probably performing in NY right around the GMA appearance. But I’m sure that much singing can’t be easy for all of them.

Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m probably a very small minority of one here but I donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t think it is all bad that Adam and Kris are going to be à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“pairedà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  up. Obviously they have VERY different styles and wonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t really be after the exact same market share. And 19 is probably as giddy as can be that the two really like each other and really seem to enjoy playing off of each other. The chemistry is beyond excellent and they really come up with some very witty comments and comedic spots during their interviews.

I think the problem here is not them being together exactly. I don’t think most people mind that, it’s more people knowing how certain things were handled in the past, non winners getting the same or more “love” from 19 than the winner and how that ended. There’s some worry that Kris might not get the winner treatment.
Maybe for Adam fans it’s fun and all that, but there’s a reason Kris’s fans may question these things.

Regarding the Summer Concert Series, I just watched Green Day’s concert on the website (thanks to whoever linked it!), and they sang 4 songs. I doubt all were televised though.

It is odd for Cook to hook up with Kris and Adam. I suspect each will have one televised song, but that concert will be longer than most. Sounds fun, yet hot (in many ways, actually!)

I think it is win win for Adam and Kris. Neither one will have much if any new material to share with the “world” but they have themselves and their remarkable talents to work with. This way everyone is happy, including all of Cookies fans. The AI boys are going to really work the fan community and having all three will triple the response and the audience. I think it is great marketing and promotion, myself. And since Cookie won’t have a new album out it will be a great way for him to maybe pick up some more sales for his old album by having him perform in front of some “new” fans.

To know me is to know that I love everything that comes out of Kelly Clarkson’s mouth — that even includes her now extinct “cool beans!” But I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed two minutes that has ever cemented my adoration for a celebrity like this interview Kelly gave to Australia’s “The Fix.”

The hilarity kicks in around the one-minute mark, and once the piggy remarks start, the genius continues aaaaall the way home!

They arenà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t even close to tracking songs yet so they could very well do something they did during the competition, I just hope ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s not No Boundaries.

I think someone twittered that Kris was in studio recording. Even if they don’t know what tracks will make the album, they could very well decide the single and have it ready by August. That’s when Crush was released.
I think it’s possible we’ll hear new singles by then. And yes, they’ll be there together.
It seems like this year they’re all about co-winner, it sucks a bit, but doesn’t mean they won’t support Kris, there’s just another guy who’ll get the same amount of love.

Kris will definitely get promoted because he’s the A.I. and he’ll do the whole circuit of promos. No doubt Adam will too but I hope Kris gets some preferential treatment. He is the winner afterall.

Well, nothing really. Ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s just that with Tamyra singing, that meant that the S3 Idols had less focus (and maybe less songs).

I saw the tour several times, Tamyra wasn’t at any of my stops.

Actually she really didn’t work out on the tour–I think they got rid of her–or she quit, or something like that. I recall her leaving the tour.

The concert was in two parts, with the Idols singing solos in the first half and duets, trios and duets in the second half. It ran about as long as a typical Idol concert normally does.

Since the Tamyra deal was kind of a bust, I’d be surprised if they tried that again. Especially with two perfectly capable Idols (adam and kris) headlining the show.

Last year, I think it was smart to separate the two Davids by August in terms of media stuff. Crush dropped in mid-late August. Although, Kristy Lee’s “15 Minutes of Shame” was out same time last year.

I really hope GMA invites Kris back when his debut album drops. As the Idol Winner, I think he should get that opportunity in the Fall Concert Series.

She didn’t attend the entire tour, but she was the “special guest” for a lot of tour stops.

Tamyra was all over Season 3. She was invited to perform three times during that season (“Raindrops Will Fall”, “Star” and the National Anthem (final results show). She was also a co-writer of the coronation song that year and she joined them on tour.

I believe that Tamyra remains the only Idol who was signed to 19R, but no corresponding Sony label. She was also signed to 19M and appeared to be TCO for S1. She got booted 4th, but Idol likes who they like and they really tried to make her happen.
