They mock Taylor’s rendition of the song, and then when you look at the comments below the article, you have a slew of responders who vent their anger on the writer ( many even canceling their Entertainment Weekly subscriptions on the spot ).

I guess this is going to be a constant in the career of Taylor Hicks. He will be slammed and slammed by critics in their internet articles and they will in turn face the wrath of fans.

What fans of Taylor don’t realize is that the writer is an equal opportunity mocker who DISLIKED what everyone did with Sgt. Peppers on the show (including Green Day’s version ).

The only rockers on the show so far are Chris, Bo and Constantine (ew). I don't see the last two ever being bigger than Chris. Oh Canadian Idol started up here and for a competition that prides itself on finding unique singers (read: not very good) they've found about 4-5 Chris Daughtry sound alikes. And one sound alike/look alike. I don't enjoy Nicklebacks music so I don't want to be surrounded by copycats.
