On another note, Sanjaya says he’d rather be on a deserted island with Jordin than Blake because although he likes Blake, if he had to be with him 24/7 he would end up not liking him because Blake can be loud and obnoxious. Should make for an interesting summer on the tour bus!

And, I’m not kidding. I cannot attest to the validity of the cancellation, since Gabber896 didn’t leave his or her credentials, but there you have it.

I believe we also had an Elliott news flash, but alas I cannot recall it’s subject matter.

The people on that video sound young – maybe high school age? They did do a great job I must say. Although they should probably watch all that copyright infringement. I don’t know how many places they’re posting that kit kat logo but they should probably be careful before they get sued.

Is that your way of saying all Kats fans are 15. How someones voice sounds has really nothing to do with their age, I just went and got my hair cut and the receptionist sounded like a 12 year old on helium but i’m sure she’s in her late 20s.

LOL, no Rad, that wasn’t what I was saying. What I was trying to say was that I was impressed with the little video they made for people who sounded so young. Spending the last decade training middle aged salespeople to use software gives me a unique appreciation for the younger generation’s coumputer skills. In all seriousness – I do really dig all the stuff kids teach themselves to do these days. I was trying to compliment them (not very effectively).

I totally agree, what is it going to accomplish? Nothing. If the Kat Pack was going to do something they should have done it a few months ago. That would have made more sense.

I don’t know if it’s really cancelled because believe it or not some radio stations are getting behind the project. I hope the Fox execs are hungry.

P.S. I think that because the peanut thing might have worked for Jericho, the Kat Pack thinks this will work for Kat, but the show is over now, so even I am confused.

But Kat needs to shut up. Declaring “that was lame” is very bitchy. Granted she was probably pissed that people didn’t even clap which is kind of rude, but still, shut up.
Kat needs to start whoreing herself out. Go to some red-carpets, go shopping on robertson, etc. She’s not a very popular person so if she wants to be famous I suggest she try the Paris Hilton route.

Sounds like it’s more of a dis to the Socialist candidate Clinton than to Kat….Hillary doesn’t seem to appeal to the younger crowd….amongst many others…..this seemed to be the theme of the review.

Let me say that I for one am glad Kat appeared at this event – lukewarm response or not. I applaud any efforts to get young people involved in politics, regardless of what side of the fence those efforts are coming from. I’d love to see more people 18 – 30 start to vote, so I give them credit for having the event and I give Kat credit for participating. Having said that, why was the senator in the ugly red suit yelling at me? And, why was she wearing the ugly red suit? If you invite young people to an event and tell them to wear jeans, the speakers themselves should be dressed casually as well.

I also think that Kat’s lame comment was an attempt to be funny, a little banter I guess. She probably wasn’t trying to be bitchy, she just needs a little help with her comic timing. And well, she was sort of right – that crowd was pretty lame.

Indeed Bobbi. Why are politicians so afraid to look like the rest of us? Washington is like the land of bad man hair. A bunch of 60 year old white men running around Aqua Netted to within an inch of their lives. And the female politicians all trying to out frumpy each other. Ugh

I know a lot of people refer to Florida as the bad fashion capital of the world (and granted, it can get a little scary down here). But I don’t think they’d think that after a visit to Capital Hill.

The Pulse Boards are reporting that the #200 album per soundscan sold 3,564, in case anyoneà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s interested.

I saw that. It’s certainly the lowest number I’ve seen at the #200 position on that chart in years, and quite possibly the lowest in the SoundScan era.

Being inside the beltway sucks all the joy and most of the soul out of the inhabitants – a condition called acute Policrosis. Early symptoms include the inability to speak in anything more than soundbites. It seems Kat had just the early symptoms exhibited by her utterance “That was lame” but managed to get help before the full blown condition set in.

Of course the treatment is daily doses of swimming pool therapy and a scoop of ice cream twice daily. She should be fine in no time.

Considering my Gramma loves Elvis and is an retirement home, I think there would be a lot more enthusiam for an Elvis Impersonator in a nursing home then you may think (although my Gramma also says she’ll never watch an Impersonator because they’re never as good as the real thing.)
