‘American Idol’ — Reteamed With AEG — Announces Season 10 Tour Dates

“American Idol” season 10 is gearing up to take the show on the road this summer. The “American Idols Live!” tour kicks off July 6 in West Valley City, Utah and will hit 45 dates before wrapping up September 9, in Rochester, N.Y., it was announced today (Apr. 28).

Featured on the “American Idols Live!” lineup this year are season 10’s top 11 finalists: Casey Abrams, Haley Reinhart, Jacob Lusk, James Durbin, Lauren Alaina, Naima Adedapo, Paul McDonald, Pia Toscano, Scotty McCreery, Stefano Langone, and Thia Megia. While the lineup typically features the top 10 of each season, Abrams was added after the judges used their lone save option of the season on him.

Kris Allen Picks Casey Abrams, Haley Reinhart As ‘American Idol’ Faves

“I have been keeping up a little bit, ” Allen said when asked to name his favorite contestants of season 10. “I would say probably my favorites are, I really like Casey [Abrams], and I really like Haley [Reinhart]. I like Lauren too, though.”

Regarding his visit to the “Idol” studio last week — not as a performer, but as an audience member — Allen said he was there to support the show and would love to perform someday if he has something to promote.

“There was talk about [performing], ” Allen said. “Here’s the deal: I don’t want to perform unless there’s something to perform, some new song. It could happen. It’s definitely a possibility, but I wouldn’t bank on it [this season].”

Ke$ha, Adam Lambert, Ne-Yo Have A Few Royal Wedding Gift Ideas

David Cook followed up on the all-American food idea. “I feel like they have everything except maybe they probably don’t have an Applebee’s gift card. I’ll go [with an] Applebee’s gift card, ” the “American Idol” alum said.

Other stars said they’d gift the British prince and soon-to-be-princess with an item they were personally best known for.

“I’d probably buy William some eyeliner, ” Lambert said. “He could do that, he could rock that look. I think.”

Steven Tyler Talks About ‘Snorting F—ing Lunesta’ at Prism Awards

It was Steven Tyler who rocked the house when he came on stage at Thursday’s Prism Awards to present his friend Richie Supa with his accolade for writing the song “Last House on the Block.”

“Is this a room full of recovering alcoholics and drug addicts?” shouted Tyler to wild applause. “Then I’m right at home.”

The Prisms are presented by the Entertainment Industries Council for accurately depicting substance abuse and mental health issues in movies, TV and music.

‘The Glee Project’: First look at the ‘Glee’ hopefuls! — EXCLUSIVE PHOTO

What will the next cast member of Glee look like? Well, he or she looks a little bit like you or me, actually. Right now, there are 12 possibilities of who might be Glee‘s newest addition, and EW has the exclusive first look at the Glee wannabes who are hoping to share the screen with Kurt, Rachel, Finn, and the rest of the New Directions in season 3 of the Fox series. The dozen fresh faces – which you can take a gander at after the jump — are competing in Oxygen’s upcoming reality series The Glee Project, which launches June 12 and will select one of the 12 for a seven-episode arc on the show in season 3. Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy has said that if a guy is chosen, the role will likely be a love interest for diva character Mercedes (Amber Riley).
