If anyone knows about dedicating at least fifteen hours of school weekly on top of all the obligations of AI, it's Archie. It was just so cute when she ran to hug him. So that's the good. I've gotta be honest. On my TV, Archie was off vocally. It was not good. I've watched over a half dozen different concert performances of TMH, I' saw the performances he gave in Asia and this didn't compare. He had an off night and it's just unfortunate that it had to happen on his return to Idol in front of over twenty million viewers, even if not all of them could tell he was off. I wish I knew why it happened. As a fan, I wish the people not following his career knew that he can definitely nail that song and performance and that this was the exception not the rule. Oh well. David has always been startlingly blunt about his shortcomings or what he sees as his shortcomings and he's so freaking matter of fact and blunt in that regard that it's caught me off guard a time or two. But I think he's fine and I didn't get any real self-loathing from his tweets. But I do think he feels he could have done better and that some fans were let down, which they were.
