Carrie Underwood will perform at the Billboard Awards set to air on ABC, Sunday May 20 at 8 pm. The awards take place at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Justin Bieber and LFMAO are also set to perform (Via People)

Carrie Underwood is also set to perform at the Opry on Saturday, May 12 and Tuesday June 5 (Grand Ole Opry)

Cécile Frot-Coutaz New CEO of ‘American Idol’ Producers FremantleMedia – Cécile Frot-Coutaz has been named the new CEO of FremantleMedia, replacing Tony Cohen as the head of the company that produces “American Idol,” “The X Factor” and “America’s Got Talent,” among other shows.Frot-Coutaz (left) was previously the CEO of FremantleMedia North America, the division of Fremantle responsible for the American hits. Carrie Underwood Admits Feedback From Her Husband Isn’t Always Well-Received – Carrie Underwood will release her fourth studio album ‘Blown Away‘ in three weeks (May 1).     He is working on an album, but not sure that would be ‘big news’ to announce on the show.  He has been mentioning tv/film stuff.. could be that.  Uhm… prolly not a tour announcment… that’s run-of-the-mill.  Welp, we’ll find out soon enough! Still hoping he gets some words on air, tho!

    Interesting article about Kurt Bestor who is the musical producer on David A.’s album of covers he did right before he left for the mission.  In fact he did his last vocals the night before he left.  Kurt said that David “is a phenom, and he doesn’t think people realize it.”  He said David is “amazing”.  He let leak that one of the covers is “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”.  Can’t wait!

    He also is on the cover of Country Weekly, along with Blake and Miranda, Lady Antebellum and Taylor Swift. And he’s also profiled in the same issue as #8 in the hottest bachelor’s group.

    Plus he started his second baseball game tonight and came out in the 4th with a 2-1 lead. He was hit in the throat with a ball but apparently stayed in after that happened. Hope he’s okay.

    This sounds like they were going for a One Direction type of sound, but I don’t think that was a good idea.  I don’t know what type of image he’s trying to achieve with this.
