‘Dancing With the Stars’: Tristan MacManus blogs Week 5, raves about Superquinn sausages – On Gladys hip-checking him in the samba: Yeah, that was the idea — She’d been waiting for a dance like this. I wanted to give her a chance to really enjoy it then. She turned around and she smashed me out of the way and then the focus was on her and she got to bust away that way. I wanted her to take the applause at the end for how well she’d done it. This whole journey is about Gladys learnin’ how to dance, and me dancin’ with a star. – Read more at Entertainment Weekly

Darren Criss: Graduation on Glee Doesn’t Necessarily Mean Goodbye – “[Series boss] Ryan Murphy is a big believer in the idea that high school is a machine where you come in as one person and you exit another,” Criss continued. “This last season is more about growing and learning new things and being a new person and bringing that to the next step in your life. I don’t think it’s a hard-fact farewell per se as it is cathartic change and the beginning of a new chapter. You have every conceivable kind of plot point that could yield those changes between [Finn and Rachel's] engagement, Quinn’s car accident… so many things that are yielding new life.” – Read more at TV Guide

I disagree with Carson, the performances on Monday are as bad as the performances on Tuesday.
Next time they should try to get their 12 best singers on the show and not pitting themselves against each other in battle rounds or having to compete for their “mentors” spots.

He is also quite good at what he does.  Daughtry’s self-appraisal seems honest.  He has a good voice and career; I would love to have the same.  He should be proud of himself.

” Simon Cowell has reportedly been robbed by a woman he had a one-night stand with.”

Given that Simon’s made it clear that he has practically a life-threatening allergy to real human relationships, I’m thinking this kind of event is likely to be pretty much routine for him for the duration. He should just give the women everything he’s got from the outset of the encounter. He can afford it, and I’m sure they don’t get much else out of it. He’s probably too cheap to hire the really high-end prostitutes.

Umma gonna guess there are very few people who would even bother to call the police if a one night stand took a couple of things.  I mean, he may have refused to pay, so absorbed in his own wonderfulness is he, so forfeited some personal articles.

Love that story about David Archuleta and what he did for Ashley.  We hear stories like this all the time from other people.  David does so much Behind The Scenes for others.  Proud of him!! He “Lives His Life Like It’s Golden”"
He arrived safely in South America this morning according to his Manager!!
Bittersweet!! Happy for him and a little sad for us. His album Forevermore has been #1 on MYS.ph  for seven days straight in the Phillipines.  Voting by International Fans and also available for download now.  DavidArchuleta.com  for details.

Kirsten, you said it all. Carson is a dumbass.

Whatever member of the production staff gave you your talking points Carson? They just made you look like a tool.

That is “what is new in the news from Simon’s camp”, “Simon Cowell has reportedly been robbed by a woman he had a one-night stand with”?! Hopefully is not Melany’s forgotten 5M-deal involved in his love-nights sprees.

Carrie’s fan club just sent out an email saying there’s going to be an online Blown Away listening party next Tuesday night! It’ll be for 2 hours and they’ll play the album twice. That’s in addition to inviting a group of FC members to Nashville this Saturday to hear the album in the studio where Carrie recorded it. They’ve really ramped up the goodies for fan club members.

I’m excited for Carrie doing Live On Letterman, it’ll be nice to have HQ live performances of some more Blown Away songs and some more HQ lives of some of her older songs too.

Also, Carrie tweeted today about buying the new Thousand Foot Krutch album. I wouldn’t mention that except Colton replied saying

@carrieunderwood @officialtfk you like TFK?! We just became best friends;-)

Carrie’s husband is childhood friends with TFK’s lead singer Trevor McNevan and that Trevor was actually instrumental in Carrie and Mike meeting each other. Trevor & Erin often accompany Carrie to Preds home games. So, Colton’s probably going to like Carrie even more when he realizes she can connect him to Trevor and TFK ;)

That story about David A.’s act of kindness doesn’t surprise me… stand-up guy by all accounts, all about what he can give, not what he can get.

So glad that David made it to South America safely! Never surprised to hear about all of the charitable acts he has done…he is a class act.  Wish him well on his mission and can’t wait for his return.

Changing your name doesn’t disguise who you are. *Sigh*

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ACMLXLYSSX73RNYQOUZWSO2I4U Enough already!

Interesting all the “personal” stories circulating about Simon’s love life, or “how to get a big pay off–become engaged to Simon Cowell.   Guess all the money in the world doesn’t entitle one to happiness ever after.   Of course, Simon’s ever after would appear to be remaining single.    Unfortunately, none of these stories has even a close wow factor!

David is constantly doing things for others. I wonder how many things he does that we never hear about? Hearing stories about him always motivates me to be a better person.

  • justmefornow

Interesting that for their headlining shows they plan on throwing in some covers also; Beatles, Whitesnake, and Dio.
    There better be video!!
