Neil Patrick Harris Hosting Tonys for 3rd Time – Neil Patrick Harris will host his third Tony Awards, airing Sunday, June 10 on CBS. The Emmy-nominated “How I Met Your Mother” star previously hosted the 63rd annual Tonys in 2009 and last year’s 65th annual awards. He will also serve as producer of this year’s 66th annual awards, with Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss of White Cherry Entertainment. “I’m thrilled to be a part of this year’s Tony Awards,” he said. “Not only will I be shining a spotlight on the best that Broadway has to offer, but hopefully I’ll score some free house seats to a show – or five!” – Read more at The Wrap

‘American Idol’ Mansion Swingers Warn Contestants — NOWHERE IS SAFE!!! – Now former Swing-mates Michael and Holli tell us — NOTHING in the finalists’ current digs was off limits for boning … especially not the Idol finalists’ music room, where the singers practice. According to Michael and Holli, the room was a sex mecca — lined wall-to-wall with mattresses. Castmates even called it the Boom Boom Room. ut that’s not all — according to the swinger duo, the mansion’s former swinger occupants did it in the shower, on the floor, on ALL the countertops, outside, and their personal favorite … in the elevator. – Read more at TMZ

‘The Voice’ Live Show: 9 Things You Didn’t See on TV – 2. No bullying allowed. I’m going to try and leave the warm up guy (who I’m told by other reporters uses the same jokes at different shows) alone this year. He’s a necessary evil if the series wants the audience to stay energetic through the two-hour taping. But, he said something that I’m not sure I’ve ever heard him say before. As you probably know, The Voice prides itself on being the nice singing show (at least to the performers, between the coaches is another story). So, the warm up guy tells the crowd that there’s no booing allowed. “If you liked the performance, scream and yell and be supportive,” he said. “And if you don’t like the performance, then scream and yell and be supportive.” Well, that makes it easy, doesn’t it? – Read more at the Hollywood Reporter

Jaleel White and Kym Johnson Set Record Straight – After Johnson admitted that it had been a stressful week for the pair, White put it all into perspective. “I think people have to realize [that] this is a competition. I had no idea how much the tabloids just besiege this show. It’s never been a part of my life at all and hopefully we can just move past this week and people see that our connection is real.” Johnson echoed White’s words, vouching that she and White have a good, friendly relationship. “I got a manicure with this girl this week. That’s about all I need to say,” White said as proof that he and his dancing partner are maintaining an amicable relationship. – Read more at ETOnline

Karina Smirnoff Rips Open William Levy’s Shirt – William Levy gave women around the world a taste of what they had been waiting for when he unbuttoned his shirt for a few seconds during his Dancing with the Stars performance on Monday night, and fellow dancer Karina Smirnoff wanted to see more of Levy’s shirtless body backstage after the show. After Levy and partner Cheryl Burke explained to ET that there was more to their dancing than flashing his bare chest, Karina Smirnoff snuck behind Levy as he was being interviewed and ripped his shirt open. The 31-year-old actor was caught off-guard but was all laughs about the incident, lightheartedly calling Smirnoff “crazy girl.” – Read more at ETOnline

‘Dancing With the Stars’: Tristan MacManus blogs week 3, describes bounty of Irish tattoos – All done now, just gettin’ home. Everyone did a great job tonight. I think Jack Wagner really stepped it up as well. The last three weeks now, the people who have gone first have really set the tone for everyone. I think it’s great to see. It’s going to be a very difficult elmination tomorrow. It’s very strange to get three 8s and still have the possibility of goin’ home. It’s gonna happen to somebody. – Read more at Entertainment Weekly

Dancing With the Stars Backstage Scoop: What’s Really Going On With Maria and Derek?! – It sure looked that way on Dancing With the Stars’ performance show when the entertainment news host was close to full lip-lock during her rumba, which paid homage to her immigrant parents. So did they or didn’t they? And what was Katherine Jenkins’ secret to getting through her emotionally charged routine that brought everyone to tears? Plus, which dancing pair isn’t nervous about Tuesday night’s elimination? – Read more at EOnline

Glee’s Chris Colfer Talks Work “Nightmares” and That “Obnoxious” Matt Bomer – “I had to do loads and loads of research because it’s a period piece,” Colfer told me at the Kids’ Choice Awards. “It’s very, well, let’s just say I couldn’t write it at night because it gave me nightmares.” But, he said, “I wouldn’t call it horror. But it’s also not cupcakes and unicorns.” What definitely didn’t give him nightmares was working with White Collar hunk Matt Bomer on Glee. “That guy’s perfect,” Colfer said, adding with a laugh, “It’s just obnoxious how perfect he is.” – Read more at EOnline

Those Kris pics are drool-worthy.  Very hot!

Good for Covais on finding success.  He’s done a fair amount of TV/movie work over the years.  He showed a lot of personality when on Idol.  Good for him.

I don’t understand why TMZ wants me to care what the heck went on in the mansion prior to the Idols being there.  I’m sure the place was cleaned.  Ha ha.  Who cares.

I don’t think I’ve seen any of the movies Kevin Covais has been in, but he’s definitely built himself a nice career as an actor. Good for him :)

The remaining Idols are so squeaky clean TMZ is scrambling for anything. It’s really beyond lame.

I saw the college one he was in when it was on the FX channel last fall. It was pretty raunchy in that ‘American Pie’ way but Kevin did a good job with what he had to work with.

Good point MJ.  With Jermaine gone, I guess they can’t find any dirt on the others and that’s all they’ve got going on at the moment.  I find it amusing more than anything else.

Hi – I just upgraded. First time buying from the official site hope it applies to Canadian purchases?

I don’t think I’ve seen any of the movies Kevin Covais has been in, but he’s definitely built himself a nice career as an actor.

There was an actor years ago named Arnold Stang, who played the classic nerd in many movies and TV shows.  Chicken Little is a natural to replace him.  It’s the ultimate in typecasting, IMO. ;)

I’m blown away by the pics from Kris’ The Vision of Love video. If they set the tone for the MV, I’m even more excited to see it.

Very impressed by the press release from RCA/Sony too.

On the TMZ porn article, I just roll my eyes. My first reaction to the Idol mansion was that it looks so sterile and institutional. So funny that among other uses porn movies are in its location resume.

I’m taking all the Jaleel White ‘angry man’ news with a grain of salt. The funniest part of that whole story is Mark Ballas coming in as some sort of bouncer. Yeah, I believe you US Weekly … not.

Thanks for all the Kris news.  The video should be great & I am excited to see it too.  Loved his photos as he looks just so handsome & soulful………..just totally *sigh* worthy!

Hope the few clicks worked ;) as I am almost a little confuzzled with all this pre order stuff but how great it was to see Kris’ pic right there in my email – very nice!  Thanks again.

Exactly!  It’s huge, but not very classy looking.  Even from the outside, it looks as if it might be better suited for offices or a medical clinic.  It’s nothing like the elegant Bel Air digs the S8 Idols were in.

  • Nele621

The name in the booklet sounds all well and good, but knowing how teeny the print already is for the “thank yous”, and add to that many tens of thousands of fan names. No thank you. I wonder if they’re going to alphabize the names, otherwise it would be difficult to find yours.

  • harvestmoon

Or, Nigel is just holding back all his info until he decides which contestant to throw under the bus.

it’ll be alphabetized, it was in Cook’s

    HUZZAH!! :D

I couldn’t decide between the three album choices, and was afraid that the deluxe album was only going to be available digitally. Love Kris, but there’s no way I was going to buy all three albums. lol I’m very pleased with this fan edition(Bonus tracks AND an acoustic EP? Holy Kris goodness Batman.<3),but my greedy Idol merch collecting side kinda wishes that it included a t-shirt and poster too. Like Cook's and Kelly's did. Though we're finally getting an acoustic EP so it's cool.

So glad I waited to pre-order "Thank You Camellia". I want the deluxe fan edition and maybe the vinyl too at some point. Hopefully RCA doesn't add a super fan edition later, but I don't think they will though.

And while Scotty´s CAD is still doing so very well, he´s working on a new album….. exciting news

Just heard on local radio, Louisiana State Officials have shipped Joshua another Cajun Feast.  They didn’t say what they sent this time; but did say they will be shipping him local food every week.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_AGWO435FL6UN2ICRVTFLWRJZSA Lexie

I was just coming to post this interview…It’s Track 3…I think it’s exciting that he’s already getting/working on songs, too.  I wonder what the optimal distance between albums is–I’ve seen those on here who argue that you don’t want too much time, but you still have to make it better somehow…

What on earth is Ryan announcing?  Let me get this straight ……. he’s flying to NYC to be on Today then flying back to LA to be on Idol the same night?  Must be something pretty good or he wouldn’t have to be live.  Is he replacing Matt Lauer?  Wasn’t there a rumour to that effect?

  • http://twitter.com/TweetsFromFrank Frank

Other than Katharine McPhee and Daughtry he might be one of the most successful of his season and he only finished 11th! He was in the movie “College” now this

YAY! He has been writing too so hopefully there’ll be a couple of songs he wrote on the album. I’m so excited. Cant wait for new music from Scotty.
