But you could sense Mr. Levine’s struggle: a big part of him wanted to go the other way. He was the winning coach last year, thanks to his student Javier Colon, but Mr. Levine knows perfectly well that despite the show’s conceit, a voice is not in fact enough. Too bad nobody told that to the decision makers on “American Idol” this season, who appear to have all but abandoned their search for a general-interest pop star in favor of a set of finalists with distinctive — probably too distinctive — voices. 29-year-old woman charged with breaking into Simon Cowell’s London house – LONDON — A woman accused of breaking into Simon Cowell’s house wielding a broken brick and then hiding in the entertainment mogul’s wardrobe appeared in a London court Monday. Leanne Zaloumis, 29, was charged with aggravated burglary after the incident on Saturday night.
