Not sure if anyone else heard the interview with James Durbin about his tour – he said he is not allowed yet to give details, but will be doing some shows with a label mate, and has a 3 page itinerary of shows coming up, but can’t say anything until they are announced apparently.  Now I’m wondering which label mate – Evanescence?

  • Anonymous

I’m betting Seether or Creed based upon their touring scheduling coinciding with when James says he will be touring.

“…a 3 page itinerary of shows for the next few months…”  That’s the best news I’ve heard all weekend, haha!!!  Where’s the interview?

  • fuzzywuzzy

Creed and Seether are touring in the U.S. according to the Wind Up tour site.  Evanescence is mostly touring abroad.

There are a couple of dates for James listed there:  Mar. 2 (Center Staging, Burbank), Apr. 11 (Club Nokia, LA),

I’ll try to find the interview & link it here for you.

Ok – here it is, hope this worked:

Ahh, I guess I wasn’t allowed to link it here – I did but then my post disappeared. I’ll try to find it in another format.

durbesque – I’m so sorry I can’t link it here.  If you go to James’ twitter feed someone tweeted it about 2 hours ago – it says something like James Durbin reveals more tour plans, sounds exciting – and it has a link there.  Sorry!

I thought Evanescence broke up and that’s why We Are The Fallen was formed? haha

    Got the link?

  • Anonymous

Evanescence didn’t break up, a few members left the band to start their own band.  Evanescence has a new album out that’s doing quite well, so I think that may have been a bad move on her former band members’ parts, but I guess they had other ideas of what they wanted to do and had disagreements with Amy Lee.

Sorry Leandro, I posted it here but it was deleted.  Someone tweeted it so you can see it on his twitter feed – maybe someone else can figure out how to find it and link it here in a different way, I guess what I did wasn’t allowed.

Thanks, thirdtime. I saw it. But I think he said just a couple of shows will be with the label mate,

Still Carly Smithson with We Are The  Fallen ? Never heard of them anymore,

This end=of-night collab with James Durbin joining another band is all kinds of looney-tunes fun. How does he hit those notes? Such a funny, goofy vid – looks like it was a good time.

    KrisAllen:
Just did a video for you guys. I apologize in advance for the stupidity that it will be.

Is this the same Jaren Johnston that co-wrote “She’s $$$” with Casey? Speaking of money, I’d pay quite a bit to see Cookie and Casey and Castro on the same stage.

  • Incipit

Yes, Caro3278sweet, same guy. I checked into his story when he sent the first tweet about writing with David. Interesting dude.

There’s another video floating around of James singing the whole song with the guys from the radio station (instead of them showing all those various clips in this video), but it was a little bit far away (kind of small).  I guess taken by someone in the audience.

Great to see that CaseyJ is play at the Opry again! Wonder how many songs he will get to perform this time?

  • GS61

    Is this the one?
They look like they had a blast.

I couldn’t stop watching this video last night (what I was doing when I stopped watching the Apprentice). There is something embarrassingly addicting about this song…it is so quirky and stupid, but entirely catchy. And it is great fun watching the radio guys and James perform it, I can’t imagine what it was like live. Seems no matter where he goes, James gets the crowd fired up.

  • GS61

    I couldn’t agree more.
    He’s a born entertainer.
Like I said before, He and his band are like a party on feet. I guess he has the same effect on other bands as well. lol
