    Oh, boy.  I really enjoyed Haley’s interview.  The more I hear about her album the more eager I get since it sounds like it is going to be flat out awesome!  I love that Interscope has enough faith in Haley’s talent to allow her so much control over the material.  I don’t imagine many artists so young would be so sure about what they wanted and have the drive to achieve it.  I know this won’t be a run of the mill, cookie cutter album.  I have a strong feeling that it will be one of my all time favorite grooves.  I have a very strong feeling.

    What I meant is that Adam is so straightforward in his language, so that there’s no doubt about what he’s saying.  He’s clear about confirming or denying rumors and doesn’t make cryptic comments to his fans who have to try to decipher what he means. I’m sure that you’ve had experience with the latter. ;)

    Awww Spenser..IMO there are no ugly dogs or cats.  They’re all beautiful to me.   Now opossums…that’s another story.  They creep me out.  LOL

    I’m excited about Kris’ photo shoot and can’t wait til it all comes together in one big fantastic CD.   Poor Zorro does look a bit uncomfortable.    Kris OTOH, looks really good.

    Haven’t been on the Clay train in years, but I’m still rooting for him.   I’ve seen Clay get nasty…he does have that side to him…so I’m guessing Trump means nasty when he says nasty (not that Trump should talk) but I’m still pushing for Clay.  

    I thought I heard that the collaboration between Adam and Bruno was just a rumor, like the Queen gig. I can’t keep up anymore with what is true and what isn’t. It’s making me dizzy. LOL

    This supposed confirmation was taken from the interview where Adam said Bruno was on the album but since Adam later clarified by tweet that he meant Bruno wrote a song for the album and that no duets have been recorded that means this is not actually confirmation at all.

    Adam mentioned something about Queen during his Mix 106 interview.
    He said ” There is something on the horizon with Queen and actually next week you might find out what it is”.

    O.M.G.  O.M.G!  Suspense is killing me.  I hope that’s something I can by tickets for. (And not the general admission tickets for 120,000 people. I am too old for that.) Keep my fingers crossed until Monday.

    Adam Lambert shared today that his new album might feature a special duet, but he was very secretive about it. This morning in an interview with New Jersey’s 94.3 The Point, Adam was asked by a fan if he could do a duet with anyone for his album, who it would be? He replied, “well, there might be one on there, but that’s still under wraps.” Adam has made no secret of the fact that one song, “Shady,” features Sam Sparrow. But since he has already mentioned this several times in interviews, fans can assume that is not the duet he is referring to that is “under wraps.”
    The big question many are wondering is who would be singing this mystery duet with Adam? We know one thing for sure – it’s not Bruno Mars! Despite recent media reports that Adam’s album will feature a Bruno Mars collaboration, Adam clarified on Twitter this week that it is not a duet. He tweeted, “Rumor control: no duets have been recorded except for Sam Sparro’s feature on “Shady”. Bruno has WRITTEN a song for the album. :) #factcheck” According to Adam, the album has been delayed because he is adding some new last-minute songs that he really likes. It sounds like maybe one of these could be a duet that is not yet recorded. One possibility could be Christina Aguilera, who he met by chance at a bar a couple of months ago. He has said many times that he would love to sing with her, so maybe that will come to fruition? Or, maybe it will be another fellow artist from his record label, such as Britney Spears or Ke$ha?     So, when Adam said that the only other singer on the album is Sam Sparro and that NO other duets had been recorded, he could have meant “in that moment and at the present time.”  I thought he was being just a little cagey in his wording even as it referred to Bruno because he never came right out and said that Bruno was NOT going to be recording w/Adam.  He only said that no other songs ’had been recorded’ and that Bruno had WRITTEN a song for the album.  That still doesn’t confirm or deny that it could be a track that is yet to be recorded, or it could  be someone else entirely, but there is going to be a ‘secret duet’ on this album in addition to Sam Sparro just as I suspected.  Scorpios make great detectives and investigators … just sayin’ … :)

    So, if it’s not Bruno, then who?  And who would you like it to be?

    If the Bruno song in question is “Never Close Our Eyes,” I have that demo and it’s not a great song.  It’s okay album filler, but it’s certainly not single material even if Bruno sings it with him.  It could chart on the dancechart, but there is nothing outstanding about it, which is why there was some question about if it would even be included.  A new Dr. Luke song could have potential, he certainly is able to write a smash hit.

    Not sure why anyone would have thought Dolly would be upset about Whitney singing IWALY, it was already a well-known song by that point, Dolly herself had gone #1 twice with it already on the country chart, she had already gotten as much as mileage out of it as she could, she didn’t really have anything to lose letting Whitney sing it.
