I agree. The lyrics do not fit the tragedy, the optics of a bunch of stars singing those lyrics feels like it is missing the point a bit.

Although it IS a really good song apart from it’s use in this case, maybe they just wanted a song they thought more people would buy? I dunno, weird choice.
