Not a big fan of the video version of glambert696969 (too OTT), but some of his tweets (like this one) are pretty funny.

All these Ford commercials running during AI seem to be paying off — Alright with Me is now #415 on the iTunes chart.

I saw that, too. Not bad for a commercial where the song gets all of about 5 seconds of play.

All these Ford commercials running during AI seem to be paying off — Alright with Me is now #415 on the iTunes chart. I don’t think it had charted on the Top 1000 since Kris’ album was first released, when several songs off of it showed up on the chart briefly

and his album is moving again — at #69 on the iTunes chart

“Determined to be unpleasant.” That’s how I saw her, also. Like she walked in with an attitude.

I was listening to Seacrest this afternoon and he had Kara on the phone and asked her about it. Kara said she thought it was hilarious and said she didn’t think they weren’t getting along, that they’re good friends and so forth.

I falied to mention earlier that I am from the Washington, DC area and often listen to Hot 99.5. As a matter of fact, I was listening to it today on my way home from work. This interviewer happened to be on at the time and mentioned something about checking out his twitter concerning his interview with Kris Allen. Of course my ears perked up, but I had no idea what he was referring to. Thank you, MJ and others, for enlightening me!

I tuned in to the auditions last night JUST to see Katy Perry and how she would be as a guest judge. I know she is popular and is good-looking, etc., but I was really disappointed at how she conducted herself. I’m not a huge Kara fan, but I thought Katy came off as very “uppity” and rude. I have had positive feelings toward her in the past, but she took a step back in my book last night. JMO.

That guy that interviewed Kris is getting some feed back on his twitter and basically his saying that he likes to cause people to get all stirred up and that he basically was playing a roll when he interviewed Kris. He said he put that part with Adam at the end back on but I haven’t listened after the first time so not sure if he was telling the truth or not. But boy what a jerk he was.

Jim’s alter ego is like a ventriloquist’s dummy that allows Jim to spew whatever obnoxious garbage happens to pop into his head at the moment. His exaggerated portrayal of an over-the-top fan is not funny in the least, not to mention the fact that it disparages Adam’s fans.

You’re not fooling anyone, Jim. Move on to Season 9.

I totally agree with you, RemusL!
I thought Katy Perry did an awesome job. As far as I know, she is the first judge to take a strong stand for the fact that the talent should definitely override the backstory. This is something I have always personally felt strongly about.

starstruck2000 I read the article in the Toronto Sun and I also didn’t see anything in it about Adam “having an attitude.” It’s actually a pretty good article IMO. I would like to know what it is you’re referring to though.

I agree, will. As a matter of fact, I found the article quite heart-wrenching. Adam seemed to feel comfortable enough with the interviewer to express his true feelings. Some of it made me very sad.
