It’s not everyday a country music star like Lauren Alaina performs at your high school. Students at James River High School won a contest from Star Country (WSLC-FM). Every year, Star Country holds a contest to see which area school can raise the most toys for Toys for Tots. James River High School won. The key club helped collect 2,332 toys.
