Taylor Hicks: ‘American Idol’ champion, Paris headliner and … restaurateur – I knew “American Idol” Season 5 winner Taylor Hicks headlines at the Paris and that fans love his songs and guitar work. I never knew that he owned a blues barbeque restaurant and hails from generations of cooks. Now he’s hoping to open a similar Southern menu venue here because he says since living in Las Vegas so far, he’s been unable to find the food he serves at his Saw’s Juke Joint back home in Birmingham, Ala. – Read more at The Las Vegas Sun

Interview: Lee Dewyze – Frames feels as cinematic as it does auditory. It’s as if you’re flipping through a photo album of Lee DeWyze’s experiences, while listening to it. In this exclusive interview with ARTISTdirect.com editor in chief Rick Florino, Lee Dewyze talks Frames and so much more. – Read more at Artist Direct

Nashville EP Talks Rayna’s Recovery, Deacon’s Dry-Out – Plus: Their Pre-Crash Convo Revealed! – When Nashville‘s second season bows Wednesday (ABC, 10/9c), it does so with the weight of many unanswered questions resting on its fringed shoulders. ‘Nashville’ Creator Stands By Divisive Finale, Previews Season Two – “We wanted to take all the cards and throw them up in the air.” That’s how Nashville creator Callie Khouri describes last May’s freshman season finale for her ABC country music drama. Not only did she toss the cards up in the air, but the series completely shuffled the deck going into season two, which will pick up the minute Rayna (Connie Britton) and Deacon (Charles Esten) were involved in a serious car crash that will find the country music superstar on life support. – Read more at The Hollywood Reporter

Who Does Amber Riley ‘Have an Infatuation With’ on Dancing With the Stars? – I feel very accomplished after last night, because I didn’t think it was something I would able to do. I know that I can dance, but my focus is not just dancing and performing so much; I really want to get the technique right. I definitely take the judges’ critiques to heart because I want to execute the technique the way all the other dancers do. I may not actually achieve it, but it’s just a good goal for me. I don’t think anybody really comes in expecting low scores, so it really doesn’t matter what your score is the week before. You go in with the mentality that you want to get all 10s. Even though you may not, the goal is just to do your absolute best and push past what you think that you can do. – Read more at Parade
