Go away with … James Durbin – James Durbin didn’t win “American Idol,” but he made his presence known. He stood out with a musical style more hard rocking than the typical “Idol” contestant. His first album — “Memories of a Beautiful Disaster” — debuted at number eight on the Billboard Rock Chart. He’s hoping to better that ranking with his new CD, “Celebrate.” Durbin took a break from his tour to call in and chat about his travels. There’s no place like home (Santa Cruz, Calif.), he says, but he’s going to travel as much as he can while he has the opportunity to do so for work.- Read more at Boston.com

Catching Up With Janelle Arthur – AMERICAN IDOL SEASON XIII

Simon Cowell: I regret affair with Lauren Silverman – but am so happy with what came out of it – “Did a doctor say I was depressed? Yeah. I mean I knew it myself,” he now admits. For long periods in 2013 the 54-year-old spent weeks alone in his LA home, working through the night and stressing about how to make The X Factor a hit in the US. He confesses: “You are always looking for the next high from the show and then actually if you haven’t got anyone to share it with per se, or if you haven’t got a family around you, you can go a bit nuts.” And then, just as Simon was at his lowest ebb, a scandal erupted. – Read more at Mirror.co.uk

Julianne Hough and Maksim Chmerkovskiy Sound Off on Their Intense Dancing With the Stars Showdown – While Julianne noted that “Danica is an incredible dancer,” she explained that her jive with Maks just didn’t “compare” to his previous jive performance with his original partner, Olympian Meryl Davis, which was “amazing.” “I felt like this was lolly-gagging,” she said of the routine. “I was like, ‘That’s not fair for Danica. I wanted to see more of her dancing, I mean, that was where I came from. It was not to be malicious at all.” But did Maks think Julianne was being malicious? And how did he really feel about her comments? “I think it’s a matter of opinion and people give theirs and it is what it is,” he said. “If I’m going to dish out my entire life, I have to be able to take it. So I took it. It’s all good.” – Read more at EOnline

Jillian Michaels May Exit The Biggest Loser After Weight-Loss Controversy – The fan-favorite trainer is looking to leave the NBC reality hit following Season 15 winner Rachel Frederickson’s controversial 155-pound weight loss, a source confirms to E! News. This wouldn’t be Michaels’ first exit from the series as she returned for Season 14 after leaving two seasons earlier. “Nothing is official yet, but Jillian has said she wants off TBL,” our source explains. “She wasn’t happy with how last season went.
