‘Jem and the Holograms’ Finds Its Stars (Exclusive) – In her first major film role, Nashville actress Aubrey Peeples has been cast as the lead, Jem, in the live-action Jem and the Holograms film, which is being directed by Jon M. Chu. The Holograms have also been cast: Stefanie Scott, who starred on Disney’s A.N.T. Farm, will play Jem’s sister, Kimber; Pretty Little Liars actress Aurora Perrineau will play Shana; and The Fosters’ Hayley Kiyoko has been cast as Aja. – Read more at The Hollywood Reporter

RISING BRITISH BAND RIXTON TO PERFORM ON MONDAY, APRIL 28 LIVE TELECAST OF ‘THE VOICE’ – British pop/rock/r&b band Rixton will perform live on the Monday, April 28 telecast of NBC’s Emmy Award-winning musical competition series “The Voice.” Coaches Shakira and Usher will perform a song with their respective teams on the Tuesday show. The four-man band — Jake Roche, Danny Wilkin, Charley Bagnall and Lewi Morgan — hail from Manchester, England. The group made its U.S. debut with its current EP, “Me and My Broken Heart,” and will sing the album’s title song on “The Voice.” – Read more at NBC

RICKY MARTIN TO PERFORM AND GUEST JUDGE DURING “LATIN NIGHT” ON “DANCING WITH THE STARS,” MONDAY, APRIL 28 – “Episode 1807” – Grammy® winner Ricky Martin joins “Dancing with the Stars” for “Latin Night” MONDAY, APRIL 28 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Martin kicks-off the night with a show-stopping opening performance of his 2014 World Cup song “Vida” accompanied by the Pro Dancers. He will then join Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba as a guest judge for the evening. Each couple will perform an individual dance to a song with a Latin theme. Additionally, the competition will include two Latin inspired team dances. At the end of the night, one couple will face elimination. – Read more at ABC

‘The Voice’ Winner Singing At National Memorial Day Concert – The 2013 winner of TV’s “The Voice” will perform at this year’s National Memorial Day Concert on the Capitol lawn in Washington. Organizers are announcing plans Thursday for the Memorial Day festivities on May 25. The lineup this year includes Colin Powell along with Danielle Bradbery from “The Voice.” Other entertainers performing include actress Dianne Wiest, Broadway star Megan Hilty, bandleader Doc Severinsen and singers Jackie Evancho and Anthony Kearns. The Swon Brothers Discuss Going to College With Carrie Underwood [Watch] – “We were in this country music show that the college put on, and we did it for credit,” he explains. However, he really got to know her — or at least her culinary tastes — when they attended a country music theater class together. “The class was so small,” Zach recalls. “It was a night class and there was probably only eight people in it.” Since the class happened every Tuesday night, one person had to cook for the whole class, or pick up dinner. “Carrie worked at a place called Sam and Ella’s Pizza, and it was awesome; it was right there by campus.
