‘American Idol’ Castoff Social Chat: Majesty Rose on How Being ‘So Diverse’ Confused Her Fans – Majesty had a style all her own, which drew the praise of Harry Connick Jr., but may have led to her downfall. “When Harry pointed out that I am so diverse, I didn’t know if it was a good thing or a bad thing; I just went with it. I made a tough choice, but it was a choice I think I needed to make.” Unfortunately for Slater, their decision to leave the competition makes her ineligible for the upcoming Switch Up twist, which will change up the pairings on next Monday’s show.
